Reliance Jio will Charge 6 Paise Per Minute For Making Calls To Other Networks. This new rule will start on 10th October, i.e. today. 

News Cover: The day of free calling from Reliance Jio to other networks is over. From 10th October, the cost will be an extra 6 paise per minute. Reliance Jio announced on Wednesday that they were going to launch interconnect uses charges (IUC). Calling from Jio to another network under the supervision of the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) will incur additional charges.

Reliance Jio reassures their customers, "Customers will have to pay IUC charges by just 6 paise if they call to other networks till the charge is reduced to zero. This charge is determined by TRAI." The IUC charges will have to pay till the 1st of January the next year. In the last three years, Jio has to pay around 13,500 core to the other mobile operator as the IUC charges. 

However, the press release also clarified that customers will not be charged for calls from other networks and by calling a landline number from Jio. Also, calls from Jio to Jio is free.

Also, they launched several top-up plans and free data offers for the customers. Jio launches the IUC Top-Up plan from ₹10 to ₹100. Customers will get 124 minutes of talk time for calling to other networks with a plan of ₹10. Additionally, 1GB of data will be available with this plan. The plan of ₹20 will give you talk-time of 249 minutes with 2GB data.  656 minutes will be available for ₹50 with 5GB data and 326 minutes will be available for ₹100 with 10GB data.

China Launches Rocket from Sea | News Cover

News Cover: China launched a rocket with seven satellites from sea platform on June 5, 2019, marking the country's latest achievement in the space industry.

The launch was carried out from a modified submersible sea craft on the Yellow Sea off China's eastern coast in Shandong province and sent the rocket some 600 km into the orbit, the China National Space Administration (CNSA) said in a statement. A Chinese space probe had landed on the far side of the moon in January making it the first spacecraft in the world to touch down in that part of the moon, which is never visible from the earth.

On June 5, 2019, a Long March 11 solid-propellant carrier rocket blasted off at 12:00 pm from a mobile platform-a modified submersible craft in the Yellow Sea of the eastern Shandong Province sent seven satellites in orbit, about 600 km above Earth.

The state-controlled China Daily newspaper reports - "The mission - launching the world's first sea-fired aviation space in five years - demonstrated China's expertise in the technology and skills needed for such operations and indicates that the country has found its ground-based alternative. "  

The CNSA said in the statement that This is the first time China launched vehicles on the sea.

State broadcaster CCTV hailed it as "a new launching mode for China to enter space quickly”.

Built by the China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology, this is the only solid-fuel carrier rocket in the Long March family.
