Violence As Assam Poll Team With EVM Hitches Ride On BJP Candidate's Car

The News Cover: well let's now get you, election news from Assam and a massive controversy that has broken out in Assam security forces had to resort to a Lottie charge and even had to fire in the air to disperse a massive mob in Kareem ganju in Assam's Barak valley yesterday now remember polling took place in Barack valley yesterday and the police action

followed after a crowd surrounded this vehicle it was a private vehicle but it was seen carrying an EVM and a polling official as well and this video of the incident has gone viral on social media official sources however have told Eddie tv that the vehicle assigned to a polling team broke down midway while they were returning to Kareem ganj after completion of the voting process and then for some inexplicable reason they took a ride with a private vehicle

which the opposition has claimed belongs to a bjp leader as the vehicle approached the strong room in Kareem guns opposition supporters then identified it and surrounded the vehicle what opposition members are saying in tweets as they've called out this controversy over the EVM being found in a private vehicle what is the explanation that's right this is a very bizarre incident in fact because the explanation is very interesting now what has happened and this is a version

that we have picked up from official sources we did speak to several top officials and the version the official version that we are picking up from the sources is that last evening after the voting process got completed this polling team who were deployed in a pooling center in rathabari constituency which is under karim's district they were returning back when their vehicle the officially assigned vehicle broke down the presiding officer had then called up the sector officer for a replacement vehicle they were assured that the replacement vehicle will come in but it took a bit of more time and in between for reasons

best known to the polling team they decided to take a lift on a private vehicle remember there was an escort party of police officials police personnel also along with the polling team now as they took the lift on a private vehicle as they approached you know Karim's town a mob get out the vehicle the mob completely you know tried to ransack the vehicle beat up the driver because maybe there were supporters of the opposition party within the mob that is also not confirmed as of now but the allegation was that that the vehicle which on which they took

the lift belongs to a bjp candidate now not the bjp candidate from the ratabari constituency from where the EVM was coming but with bjp candidate often adjacent constituency now what we are picking up from opposition rather what we are picking up from official sources is that they have checked and they found out that the vehicle belongs to somebody in the family of a bjp candidate from another adjacent constituency now already there is a police case

which has been registered in terms of the mob violence which took place because when the administration got to know about it they send in reinforcement to the area the heavy Lottie charge had to be done and not only that the mob only got dispersed after there was blank firing by the security forces remember yesterday in another incident in kachar district of Barack valley in a sunny constituency

there were police actors you know they were firing by the personal security officers of the deputy speaker of the assembly mr amin after he got out by few people and three people got injured so two major incidents of violence in Barack valley after yesterday's polls

The News Cover: CRP police, all kinds of central paramilitary forces, marching into the loyal accounting center over here is the counting center they are marching in there literally to rescue Mamta Banerjee who has been stuck there for over one hour caught between two quarters a Kurukshetra if I have ever seen one in the middle of what is supposed to be a completely democratic process of electing leaders.

the trouble at boy all started around 1:30-2:00 clock when Mamta Banerjee came here to register her protest against reports that her polling agent was not allowed into this particular booth and that's when the first stop when she came out of her home this afternoon was here she came in down the road over here on a wheelchair which is at least a kilometer and a half and then suddenly villagers erupted over here and started shouting jay Sriram slogans

let me show you they are still there the police have managed to push them. back a little but not much they are all over there sporadically shouting Jai Shri ram slogans even now a whole bunch of villagers who seem to be very angry with Mamta Banerjee here they are security forces in growing numbers keeping them back

so this is where you have the bjp supporters and on my right over there you have the trinomial supporters and the police security forces posted, in between to ensure there is no clash and all this while since about two o'clock in the afternoon Mamta Banerjee has been stuck inside

the polling booth and she has been talking to multiple leaders i know that I heard her speak to the governor and she complained to him that this was a failure of the election commission of the administration that the election commission was in charge of that she feared for her life and you know felt that the election commission should respond and here

we have a situation when a huge police force has arrived a few minutes ago with a huge contingent and election officials they have gone in and met Mamta Banerjee now we are waiting to see what happens next i can see that the officials have stepped out of the booth we'll have to see what they do to control the situation and get the chief minister out of here

Mamata Banerjee vs PM Modi: What's The Writing On The Wall?

The News Cover: a political slogan, that seems to have caught the attention of not even not just pole managers. but even artists in Kolkata, we are in Kolkata we did manage to see big hoardings of Narendra Modi only two faces Narendra Modi, on one side month of energy on the other right huge posters huge post there's a poster war happening in Kolkata.

I'm sure it's happening in the rest of West Bengal. as well but largely in Kolkata gone are ads, of real estate properties, gone are the ads of perfume sprays soaps now it's only two faces on the streets Mamta of energy so it's a two-person personality contest but how this messaging can be seen on the walls the writing on the wall for some at least not all can be seen right here.

so messaging at various levels, not just those big posters but right here if you recall this was the the very famous times. of india cartoon of mamta banerjee with a pair of slippers and also a plaster on the other leg with a football and her political slogan keller hobe so this has been painted on the walls so it's not just it is not just about  about those big posters but this subtle messaging also cost efficient messaging also which can be seen on the streets i'm sure there will be some places where the bjp would have also used the same messaging take a look at this one for instance.

at this one for instance you've got month of energy with a plaster cast on a wheelchair saying namaste so anyone who's crossing this extremely narrow street this is the heart of kolkata extremely busy intersection extremely busy road you can see that the people who stay here such narrow lanes huge population right and once they will come out of these narrow lanes and violence through these roads

they will not just see those big posters but also this subtle messaging should this be seen as the writing on the wall or is this an attempt to perhaps convince people as i said and i want to say this out loud we have been able to spot this message just by chance i'm pretty sure that this form of messaging would be done by the other political parties as well particularly the main rival this time around for month energy the bhartiya janata party

we'll get you all the latest reports from our three or four day tour right here where we crisscross not just kolkata but also neighboring areas go to pole bound Nandigram get you other reports also get you the cast time remember it's not just hindu and muslim that you always keep sharing there's a very very crucial caste dynamics which are also at play so what are those cast dynamics what is the strategy as far as these two players are concerned

West Bengal Elections 26 Of 30 Seats In Bengal Phase 1 Polls Voted For Trinamool In 2016

The News Cover: over 73 lakh voters from five districts all over purulia and jargram and parts of bangkura west medinapur east midnapore will vote in around 10 200 booths in this first phase of the elections in bengal of the 30 seats in bengal the bjp is contesting 29. one has been given to the all jharkhand students union the trinimul is contesting 29 and will support an independent candidate, for the other seat the congress is contesting only five seats and its finally in this bengal election

that's been a very shrill election in the lead-up and you have the bjp there you know challenging the trinimula congress what are the reports so far well the report so far is like as usual in Bengal huge turnouts already at polling stations you know waiting from early in the morning to try and get and get their vote early before it gets really hot remember

the areas that are voting today 30 seats are in the jungle mahal area a lot of the seats also eastern west and these are really hot arid districts and there are concerns about the temperatures rising in the afternoon and so huge turnouts already but then that's always been the case in Bengal people make an early start of voting and you always had about 80 plus of turnout and that is already indicated today

now what is important about this particular phase and remember we are voting in eight phases and this is just the first phase the 30 seats that are going to oppose are very very contentious you know in 2016 the cinema over here these seats had just as many as 20 60. so you would have thought that this was the complete trinomial bastion but in 2019 the bjp managed to upset that and they led in the 2019 parliamentary elections

the bjp led in 20 out of the 30 assembly segments and therefore we see hugely contentious there is also a fair amount of tension and that's simply because many of the polling stations are deep inside forests to remote villages and huge security bundles have been put in place to ensure no untoward incident parts of you know jungle mahal area war mowers dominated last night there was an incident of a vehicle of the election commission being set on fire at combined one now in Purulia.

we don't really know what happened but initial reports were that come you know marched people came and kept the vehicle on fire and so there are these tensions of probable violence and therefore what is significant is the huge deployment of security forces in this phase 730 companies for 30 seats I mean that is quite something else I really wanted to ask Rasmussen how many companies of craft they have in for 47 feet polling today in that state in Bengal 713 that's huge hopefully things will pass peacefully.

Explain Bengal Election Will Modi be able to breach Fortress Mamata in Bengal?

The News Cover: "Tomar Naam Amaar Naam Vietnam Vietnam" was a popular slogan when the left front had a stronghold in Bengal. Communism was on the rise. But, only as an ideology. Mamta Banerjee, on the other hand, actually fought for the farmer rights, with the slogan: 'Tomar Naam Amaar Naam Nandigram Nandigram' Result: Tata's Nano & Left front govt both lost Bengal.

Today, BJP is trying their best to make it into Bengal assembly with the slogan: Tomar Naam Amar Naam Jai Shri ram Jai-Shri ram. Mamta Banerjee may not like it but this Bengal election will be a fight between identities. After 2019 success, BJP plans to win the Bengal assembly elections but can they succeed? Or, will Mamta Banerjee win again against the odds? Or, will the left parties rise again?

Let's learn about the upcoming Bengal elections. Starting with BJP's 8 points that may help their chances. They performed very well in the Lok Sabha 2019 elections. RSS has been expanding all across Bengal. State president Dilip Ghosh is an RSS member as well.

RSS + BJP is a great combo. However, sometimes, Dilip Ghosh gets tangled in his own words like saying that Non-Bengalis have done more for Bengal than Bengalis themselves. But, overall, their chances seem good. In 2014, even after winning Lok Sabha, BJP couldn't do well in Bengal assembly elections.

So, they approached Mukul Roy, formerly a member of TMC. Not just him, Suvendu Adhikari, and Sovan Chatterjee, all were involved in the Saradha Chit Fund scam. But now, after leaving TMC and having joined BJP, they have been granted top political positions.

Many jokes that Bengal BJP is mostly governed by TMC leaders, hence BJMul. By using imported faces and talents from other parties BJP has done well in other states as well Mamta Banerjee's image may be clean but her party people are involved in one scam or another.

The biggest of which is the Saradha Chit Fund scam. But what hurts people more is the 'Cut money' scam in which the local politicians take their cuts off a big project. In fact, this happened even with the relief package for Amphan victims.

BJP is highlighting these key points. BJP accuses Mamta Banerjee of appeasement politics, that she works majorly for the Muslim population. BJP has mixed into this the promises of CAA-NRC. They claim that Bangladeshi intruders are destroying the culture of Bengal. Amit Shah has called these people termites.

This can lead to polarization which may benefit BJP. Matua community has a strong presence in Bengal who got land, ration card, and other facilities except for citizenship. Implementation of CAA will provide citizenship to these people so they may get inclined towards BJP. Fun fact - Mamata Banerjee has a nephew whose name is Akash Banerjee.

Just think it through: Would I plead for memberships if I were? Anyway. These days Mamta's other nephew Abhishek Banerjee is in the news. BJP has therefore got an opportunity to call out nepotism. A formula that works. Recently, the CBI team investigated and inquired Abhishek Banerjee over the coal scam allegations. Oh oh...Nepotism plus corruption...killer narrative.

Left ruled over Bengal for 30 years. Not much development happened. Even TMC could not bring about major changes in the state of Bengal. Now, BJP says that they will ensure 'Asolo Parivartan'. They claim that when the center and state both have BJP, ache din will come.

Mamta Banerjee has the Bangla advantage. But, this time, IT cell is in full flow, led by Amit Malviya. Their target is 50 lakh social media messages every hour...in other words digital flooding. Finally BJP has suddenly fallen in love with Bengal. Modiji speaking Bangla Nirmala Sitharaman quoting Tagore, tribal leader Birsa Munda being remembered, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose claimed as their own.

The goal is to win over the hearts of Bengalis. Because Bengalis are very emotional people. This will help remove BJP's outsider tag. Now, moving on to 8 points that may work in TMC's favor. How are they so confident despite double anti-incumbency?

Mamta Banerjee has partnered with political strategist Prashant Kishor. She is being projected as the true daughter of Bengal and BJP is shown as outsiders. A very effective strategy. TMC is showing that Bengali children are healthier than Gujarati children.

That unemployment in Bengal is less than the national average. That economic recovery of Bengal has been smooth after a corona. Mamta Banerjee uses politics 'to give to get something. Targeted welfare has been practiced, such as schemes for women. Opponents say that she has a Muslim vote bank. But, on the contrary, women have a substantial Vote share as seen in Bihar Election.

TMC members may have been involved in corruption cases but Mamta didi's own image is good as new. No allegations against her. So, critics also say that TMC is a one-woman party. But, Mamta believes otherwise. The strongest point that will work in TMC's favor is TINA (There is no alternative). In Bengal, BJP is fighting the election under Modiji's leadership and his vision for Bengal. But, the voter wants a CM face, which only TMC has.

The News Cover: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 30th June 2020 addressed the nation on the coronavirus situation. He gave credit to the farmers and taxpayers because of them the Central Government provided free food grains to the poor and needy in the country.
PM Modi praised India's progress compared to the rest of the world. He urged people to take all precautions even during Unlock 2.0, particularly those living in containment zones. I will tell you some of the highlights of PM Modi’s Speech: PM Modi said that, “India's efforts are better than many other nations across the world." However, since Unlock 1.0 started, we have noticed people not taking precautions and having a careless attitude regarding COVID-19.

Earlier peopled washed hands, used sanitizers, wore masks, maintained social distance, etc. Since Unlock 1.0 people have gone back to their old ways and not following rules. Citizens need to follow the rules and more careful as the country enters Unlock 2.0 PM Modi said that compared to other countries, the death rate is very less in India.

This is because right decisions at the right time have helped manage the situation. This is why our death rate is less compared to the world. PM Modi said that they will now starting One Nation One Ration Card for the distribution of food. This will benefit migrant workers and their families.

Keeping in mind all the festivals that are coming up, free food will be given upto Diwali and Chhath Puja. Free food will be distributed upto November. Per family will be given 5 kg free ration and 1 kg dal per month. 80 crore people across India will benefit. This will be done at a cost of more than Rs 90,000 crore.

He also said that in the last 3 months, Rs 31,000 crore was deposited in the bank of 20 crore families. Rs 9,000 crore was deposited to bank accounts of farmers. The credit for the way India is being able to handle this crisis goes to two categories of people. Farmers and taxpayers.
The reason is the farmers continued to work and provided food to those starving and the taxpayers honestly paid their taxes on time which helped in India's development and ensured none of the poor went hungry. PM Modi bowed down and thanked all the farmers and the taxpayers.

India, News cover, indian news, PM Forms 2 Cabinet Panels to spur Investment and Job, Narendra Modi

News Cover: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on June 5, 2019, set up two cabinet committees, one dealing with investment and growth and another on employment and skill development-signaling his intent to tackle the two critical challenges confronting the economy.

  • The decision to set up the panels came along with the reconstitution of the Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) to reflect changes in the government's top deck. Headed by Modi, CCS will have defense minister Raj Nath Singh, home minister Amit Shah, finance minister Nirmala Sitaraman and external affairs minister S. Jaishankar.
  • Modi, who was far from forming many cabinet committees in his first term, decided to set up groups dedicated to a more focused approach to tackling growth concerns and job shortages. Economic growth has slowed in the recent quarter, which declined by an 18-quarter minimum of 5.8% in the fourth quarter of the last fiscal year. The unemployment rate is seen at a high level for many years, which in turn will affect job creation and cost more.
  • Economists have argued that the government should focus on increasing costs immediately in order to reduce auto sales with consumer goods companies, as consumer goods companies complain incessantly.
  • The cabinet committee on investment and growth will have transport and MSME minister Nitin Gadkari as a member apart from Shah, Sitharaman, and Goyal, indicating that the government wants to spur investment in the manufacturing sector.
  • Experts lauded the move and said it signaled the government's commitment to step up growth and create jobs. "Formation of these two committees indicates the commitment of the new government to attract FDI into India, boosting infrastructure development and job creation avenues," said Kaku Nakhate, President & India country head, Bank of America.
  • On the other hand, Narendra Singh Tumor, Dharmendra Pradhan, Ramesh Pokhrial 'Nishank', Mahendra Nath Pandey, Santosh Gangwar and Hardeep Puri besides Shah, Sitaraman and Goal are present in the panel. In the first period, there was an emphasis on developing skills for the Modi administration.

The Prime Minister announced that the income of the farmers will be doubled by 2022. According to the Economic Survey, the rate of increase in agriculture is 2.9 percent. To increase the income of the farmers in three years, the increase rate should be 14 percent in agriculture.

News Cover: The Prime Minister greeted the finance minister, Nirmala Sitaraman, to the end of the budget. Then he said that this budget should move the country forward. In his words, 'It is a budget that will lead the development of the 21st Century. There are hope and direction in this budget. ”Modi thinks this budget is fully citizen-friendly, development-friendly and a budget aimed at a bright future for the youth of the country. And Union Home Minister Amit Shah thinks that this budget will fulfill the expectations of 130 million Indians to build a new India.

The Prime Minister and the Home Minister have said this, but have expectations really been met?

No, no. Not even the BJP MPs, nor the common people.

BJP MPs do not say anything publicly, but they have no reason to be happy to see this budget. There is no good news for the farmers, the middle class and the workers, not even the village has got much, but the decision to raise the price of petrol-diesel a penny will not make people happy at all. However, the expectations of the people exceeded the vote on account before the Lok Sabha elections. The farmers had hoped that their six thousand rupees would be increased to ten thousand, the poor hope the pension will increase, new welfare plans will come with Narendra Modi.

The Prime Minister announced that the income of the farmers will be doubled by 2022. According to the Economic Survey, the rate of increase in agriculture is 2.9 percent. To increase the income of the farmers in three years, the increase rate should be 14 percent in agriculture. He needed a huge investment in agriculture. It didn't As a result, it is not surprising that waterfall in the hope.

Explaining the BJP leaders, as per Narendra Modi's work, this is normal.  In the first two years after coming to power, he made a tight budget Over the next two years, he gives people some relief In the last year, the pouring public came with the project As the Chief Minister of Gujarat, he followed this formula The center also did the same in the first five years Decisions like Ayushman Bharat, farmers paying six thousand rupees a year, not paying income tax till five lakhs, all come to an end. No wonder if Modi is following the same path this time Now there is no Lok Sabha election in front. There are important legislative seats in three states, but the opposition has dispersed there. The state's vote basically depends on local MLA. As a result, the Prime Minister does not have the responsibility to satisfy the people right now. Rather, the economy is on the rise, the problem of having no money, where the problem is intense, why he or she will walk on the path of public opinion. The last one or two years are for him This time the budget is indicative.
