Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra - Insanely Powerful

Saturday, May 29, 2021

The News Cover: Despite the projected impending rise of foldable smartphones, the Galaxy S series is still the face of Samsung's mobile division. The next iteration of the S series handset the Galaxy S22 is expected to offer a host of new and significant advancements in various areas of smartphone technology. That includes an under-display front-facing camera, a continuous optical zoom with a variable focal length similar to DSLR, combined with Olympus sensor-shift camera technology.

The Galaxy S22 lineup will again have a 5nm processor similar to the S21 lineup, but if you're thinking that because of the same processor nodes we won't see massive performance gains then you're mistaken because ARM has officially announced their new architecture for mobile with some massive gains both in performance and efficiency. ARM says the processors using the Cortex-X2 will get up to a 30% performance boost over 2021’s flagship phones (which use the X1) when other improvements like more cache are taken into account. Arm also says you can expect a 2x boost to machine learning performance over the X1.

That's a huge improvement considering we're still in the same 5nm chip-making process. Arm has also issued a successor to the Cortex-A78, and the company is going with an all-new name in the Cortex-A710 which offers 10% improvement in performance, But a far bigger improvement is to be had when it comes to machine learning and battery life, with a 2x performance gain and 30% efficiency gain. Next, finally, after 4 years, ARM has launched the successor to the little cores, Cortex A55, and named it the Cortex-A510. These cores handle basic tasks and apps including your most-used apps that don't require much power.

As an end-user, here's where you'll see a massive difference in the S22 Ultra. Because these little cores bring a 35% performance improvement, a 20% efficiency gain, and a 3x boost to machine learning compared to a Cortex-A55 on the same process which quite frankly is big if we're talking about a year over year upgrade. So overall, the Galaxy S22 would theoretically offer a 30% jump in single-core peak performance, a 30% increase in sustained efficiency, and a 35% uplift in little core performance. Another reason we're seeing this big jump in performance is because of ARM's new V9 architecture over the V8 that was launched a decade ago in 2011.

Both the Snapdragon and Exynos chips next year will see this gain as both of them use identical architecture. The difference will be seen in GPU, AMD is finally making its debut on Exynos, and judging from the early benchmark it's going to give Snapdragon's Adreno a run for its money. With that said, here's the first look at the Galaxy Buds 2 that could launch alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 3 in late July. It seems the design is similar to the Galaxy Buds Pro rather than the original Galaxy Buds.

Even the case has a rounded square design. As for the features, it will have ab improved audio quality and “active noise reduction or cancellation. Anyway, Ice Universe also mentions that the Z Flip 3 will weigh the same as the original Z Flip at 183grams. According to the info we have about the handset, the Z Flip 3 will be more of an updated version of its predecessors, rather than a completely revamped model. The inner display size is exactly the same, only the cover display is increasing in size ever so slightly. But the good thing is it's going to be affordable and might start at $999.

The News Cover: Just two weeks ago, Xiaomi launched a true wireless earbud called Mi FlipBuds Pro in its home market - with a number of exciting features like Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), 28 hours of battery life, and dual device intelligent connections. In that case, even before launching this special earbud in the world market, the Chinese tech giant has lifted the curtain on more sophisticated audio products. In fact, just like the previous announcement, today, Xiaomi has launched a new earbud called Redmi AirDots 3 Pro with the Redmi Note 10 5G series of smartphones in the Chinese market. This earbud comes as a pro version of the company's Redmi AirDots 3 product launched in the domestic market in February. Let's find out what features this new Redmi AirDots 3 Pro earbud has and what it will cost.

Specification of Xiaomi Redmi AirDots 3 Pro:

Redmi's new True Wireless Stereo or TWS earbud comes with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) feature. In case of noise reduction, it will reduce noise up to a maximum of 35 decibels (dB). On the other hand, the Intelligent Noise Reduction feature will enable the Redmi Airdots 3 Pro to adapt to different environments and automatically adjust to the noise reduction depth. It will also have three noise reduction modes (15 dB, 25 dB and 35 dB), which users can use as they need. Similarly, it will have the advantage of 69 mm low latency.

The new earbud will not differ much in design from the first-generation Redmi AirDots; Although it will have a longer charging case. Among other features, this new AirDots earbud will provide 28 hours of battery life (including a charging case) like the Mi FlipBuds Pro, where single-charge earbuds can be used for up to 6 hours. In this case, the headset has the advantage of charging both wirelessly and wired. Again its dual device intelligent connection feature, will connect two mobiles or laptops simultaneously. For connectivity, it has Bluetooth 5.2 and each of the buds weighs about 4.9 grams.

Price of Xiaomi Redmi AirDots 3 Pro, Availability:

White, blue and pink variants of the new Redmi AirDots 3 Pro earbud will be available. It will cost around 349 yuan (around Rs 4,000 in Indian prices). The earbud is expected to be available in India or international markets in a few months.

Google Pixel 6 Pro - Taking On Samsung

The News Cover: When the original Pixel was unveiled by Google in October 2016, many questioned why the Mountain View company was entering the business of designing, building, and selling phones. Five years on, that sentiment still lingers.

And Critics of Google’s strategy are correct to say it looks contradictory: the company has invested time and treasure into building devices, but it hasn’t accompanied them with the necessary distribution and marketing to truly challenge for a big slice of the market. But it seems that will finally change with the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. According to Max Winebach, Google claims to be serious about its hardware business this time, and they are actually taking on Samsung and want to steal some of the market share from them.

Max says that Google has kept the same marketing budget for the Pixel 6 as Samsung keeps for their Galaxy S series of phones. This is huge because like I've mentioned over and over, the key to success in the smartphone industry is to make a good phone and market it properly. In the tech world, people tend to think competition is all about the product. But that's not entirely true.

Samsung did not change the game with just technology or product. Instead, they did it by focusing on distribution and advertising! So Google keeping a big marketing budget for the Pixel phones is an indication that they are finally confident on their phones that it can go head to head with the best out there in every aspect and not just photography. But then again you may ask, Google sells only a few million Pixel phones per year, how could they have a budget like Samsung.

Well, Google as a whole company makes billions in profits each quarter and their market capitalization is actually more than Samsung's. If Google wants they can double the marketing budget of the Pixel 6 than what Samsung has kept for the Galaxy S21 because Google has other extremely profitable ventures that makes a ridiculous amount of money for them. So it's about time, Google is finally upping their marketing game. With that said, Max also revealed some of the specifications of the Pixel 6 lineup on a podcast he did recently.

He says Pixel 6 Pro will have a 5000mAh battery to power the 120Hz QHD+ display. The regular Pixel 6 will also have a 120Hz refresh rate but the resolution will be FHD+ and the battery capacity is 4500mAh. He said the reason Google opted for this robocop camera design is that it's a future-proof design thanks to all the room it gives to allow new camera tech and it helps Google to keep a consistent camera design in the future Pixel phones as well. Speaking about Google's own custom silicon he says the reason Google chose to design their own chipset is because of Artificial intelligence. We all know AI is the future, Google already makes AI chipsets.

Things work better if a company controls the whole stack than solving the puzzle by putting the pieces together. And that's what Google is doing. This will help them better optimize the whole chipset. Max says you shouldn't be too much optimistic about the performance, the Whitechapel will perform in between the Snapdragon 865 and 888, close to the Exynos 2100. Since it's Google's first try at making a custom chipset for phones, I think it's unreasonable anyway to expect them to outperform Qualcomm on their first try.

But it will be interesting to see, how well they optimize the chipset. He also mentions that the Pixel watch will have a 5nm Samsung processor and will launch alongside the Pixel 6 in October.

It is also rumored that Samsung is working on a Galaxy M series 4G smartphone called Galaxy M32 4G. The device was spotted last month on Derka, Bluetooth SIG, India's BIS certification site and Geekbench benchmark platform. Now the smartphone has been approved by the Wi-Fi Alliance Authority. As a result, the launch of Samsung Galaxy M32 is just a matter of time.

Samsung Galaxy M32 with SM-M325FV / DS model number has appeared in Wi-Fi Alliance. It will run on Android 11 and support Wi-Fi 80.11ac, according to the listing. According to a report by Galaxyclub.nl, the Galaxy M32 will be available in Black, White, and Light Blue color options.

It was learned from the DEKRA certification site that the Samsung Galaxy M32 phone will have a battery with EB-BM325ABN model number. Its rated capacity is 5,630 mAh. Although it will be marketed as an 8,000 mAh battery. Again, we hope that it will support 15 watts fast charging.

Google Pixel 6 Pro - Google Is Going All Out

The News Cover: The Pixel cameras have been in a weird spot for a couple of years; the Pixel 2 in 2017 was an incredible leap forward for smartphone photography, but features like Night Sight aside, the Pixel 3, 4, and even the Pixel 5 were mostly evolutions on the same hardware and software formula, making what sometimes felt like subjective tweaks more than clear improvements to image quality.

Google Pixel 6 Pro specification

It’s to Google’s credit that they’ve still remained among the very best phone cameras you can buy. If Samsung or even OnePlus stuck with the exact same sensor for three iterations of its flagship device, they would be laughed out of existence. But for Google, that's not the case. But it's 2021, the competition not only caught up but is getting better in the camera department. The old sensor in the Pixel camera is now starting to show its age.

And thankfully it seems Google has finally realized that they are in due for a new camera sensor and has finally decided to upgrade the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro's camera with a new and bigger sensor. That's according to Max Winebach who has a great track record. But he didn't mention what kind of sensor Google is going for the Pixel 6 but another tipster is shedding more light on this. According to his source, the Pixel 6 Pro will utilize a Sony sensor for its camera, “perhaps a 50MP” one.

He also mentioned that an 8-megapixel periscope camera will be included, with 5x optical zoom. On top of that, the phone is said to include an ultra-wide-angle lens and a color correction sensor. Apparently, Google has finalized the camera setup and will go into mass production by late august. Now keep in mind that this source has a pretty mixed track record so you know what you need to do but if this is true then Google has finally created a Pixel phone that can offer powerful and versatile camera hardware that can go head-to-head against the likes of the Galaxy S21 Ultra.

Don't get me wrong, when it comes to computational photography Pixel phones are right at the top. But they lack versatility. I mean the Pixel 5 didn't have a telephoto camera nor a periscope zoom camera but it seems that's finally changing, Google is betting big on the Pixel 6 and that's a breath of fresh air in an Android world which certainly is in need of a big mainstream competitor to the likes of Samsung.

With that said, in their annual IO event, Google said they are making changes to its algorithms to understand when it is taking photos of darker skin tones and algorithmically reduce stray light to bring out brown skin tones and prevent over-brightening darker skin tones. On top of that, the camera’s algorithms will also be smarter at understanding different hair types, including, curly or wavy hair. This means the Pixel 6’s portrait mode should be better at identifying different hair types and produce a natural bokeh around traditionally African hairstyles.

Not only that Google is collaborating with Samsung to unify the Tizen and wearOS to make the Android smartwatches great again. Google promises you'll see a faster performance, with apps starting 30% faster on the latest chipsets, with smooth UI animations and motion. The lower layers of the OS have also been optimized to improve battery life. Honestly, this is a win-win situation for all, Samsung will get to use millions of wearOS apps, Google's wearOS is getting revived by Samsung who controls the smartwatch market on the Android side and we consumers also win because we're getting a better and an improved smartwatch.

Samsung Rollable Display is OFFICIAL

The News Cover: So Samsung is the undisputed leader in the foldable phone market at the moment with a market share of more than 50%. Currently, Samsung provides foldable phones with two different form factors.

So you would be wondering what the company has in store for the future of foldable technology. Well, today, Samsung Display, the unit of Samsung Electronics which designs and produces displays for the parent company, has unveiled a range of new OLED panel options giving us a glimpse of what we can expect from the company in the future. You see, Display Week 2021 online exhibition is taking place from today where Samsung unveiled new display panels.

The first one is the slidable aka rollable display and here's the device that Samsung display showcased. If you follow smartphone news, you probably know that rollable smartphones are the next big thing, stealing the thunder from foldable phones so to speak. These devices let you extend the screen size, as part of the display is rolled up in the body of the phone, and can unravel when you want. It's a futuristic concept, and Oppo has already showcased a rollable phone albeit in a concept stage.

Samsung could be the first company to launch a commercial device probably next year and this is what it may end up looking like. The second display panel they showcased is for the tablets. It's a massive 17-inch foldable panel and Samsung Display says it offers a 4:3 tablet screen when folded and a large monitor of sorts when unfolded. Samsung's tablets are already some of the best tablets around, even with stiff competition from Apple's iPad family. However, if Samsung could bring out this tablet as a retail product, it would effectively corner the folding tablet market, like it has with the folding phone market.

Next, they unveiled an S-folding or Z-folding foldable panel. When folded twice, the device can be used as a conventional smartphone and when it’s unfolded, it reaches a maximum size of 7.2-inches. There's also a thick bezel on the left-hand side of the device when unfolded, hosting the cameras and giving you an area to grip the device. And finally, Samsung also offered a glimpse at its under-display camera inside a concept notebook, which would allow for edge-to-edge panels.

The company says that this tech is enabled by “increasing the transmittance” of the screen area where the camera is located. Including an under-display camera on a laptop is a very safe bet since laptop cameras are notorious for awful images and video quality to begin with. Interestingly, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 is already confirmed to have the under-display camera technology so we don't have to wait long to find out if this tech is ready for prime time. In any event, all of these designs seem like rather interesting ideas, and could perhaps give us a hint of what to expect from Samsung itself in 2021 and beyond.

With that said, the world's biggest camera sensor smartphone is official. It is the biggest camera sensor put in a mobile phone ever, and it was developed jointly with Leica all the way from R&D through lens design to image quality adjustment. This phone is from a Japanese phone maker Sharp and it offers a 20-megapixel 1-inch sensor which is similar in specs to what you’d find in Sony’s high-end RX100 compact cameras. Along with the massive camera, the phone also features a 240Hz LTPO panel with 2000 nits of brightness which is the highest ever. Other specs are standard for what you can expect from a 2021 flagship. It will go on sale in June in Japan.

The News Cover: The country is the second wave of the deadly incidence coroner. Everyone is trying to save the country and themselves from this invisible virus, starting from the medical staff. There is a shortage of oxygen in different states, there is a shortage of beds. And getting the Covid 19 vaccine in this situation has also become a difficult challenge for the general public, many of whom are not getting the vaccine slots in CoWIN. As a result, IIM and NIT alumni have jointly developed a mobile-based application that will help people book vaccine slots. This app is named localiti.io.

Currently using the app, 18- to 44-year-olds waiting to be vaccinated to fight Kovid 19 will receive notifications about all the details of the vaccine. This app was developed by Partik Madaan, a former student of National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra, Prateek Singh, an alumnus of Rohtak Indian Institute of Management, and Prateek Singh, a student of NIT Bharat. (Bharat Bhushan), who is currently an employee of Ixigo.

Pratik Singh, an alumnus who developed the app, said they launched the app after the central government announced a third vaccination. It was launched in May to help people get information about the availability of slots in their area, he said. In addition to India's fight against Covid 19, students across universities and other institutions are also developing various apps, creating online portals to provide verified information about medical supplies and beds.

Surprisingly Xiaomi, Mi Band 6 can be used to reply to SMS and calls

The News Cover: At the end of last March, Xiaomi launched its latest fitness tracker band called 'Mi Band 6' with a bunch of smartphones. Since then, this special wearable device has entered multiple markets, including China. According to the report, the Chinese tech giant shipped about ten million units of smartband within a month of launch. In that case about two months later, the device is now expected to receive a new firmware update. Sources claim that this update will add a long awaited feature to Mi Band 6.

Please note that this update is not the first update since the launch of Mi Band 6; Shortly after its debut, the band received a firmware update featuring sleep tracking. But now that Xiaomi has rolled out the firmware update (version 1.0.1.32) for it, users will be able to reply to messages from the wearable band to the connected device. Again this latest update is coming with Mi Fit v5.1.0 support; As a result, after installing the new firmware, users need to update the Mi Fit application from Google Play Store, Gate App, Mi App Store or Apple App Store.

As mentioned earlier, the new update of Mi Band 6 will allow users to reply to text messages from the fitness band. But it is not yet known exactly how this feature will work. However, looking at the official log related to the update, many think that this special feature will be limited to Chinese users only, where users will only be able to answer incoming messages and calls.

According to the company's official log, the new 1.0.1.32 update will see more features in the band, including the Pomodoro function, new pace goal setting options for outdoor running, and new transit passes. (Greentown Pass, Ganzhou Pass, Shaoxing Pass). It is also reported that some bugs will be fixed with this update.

Samsung Galaxy Note 21 Ultra - Interesting Development

Saturday, May 15, 2021

The News Cover: So reports about the Galaxy Note 21 getting scrapped have been doing the rounds of the internet well before the Galaxy S21 series was launched in January. Several reports said that the Galaxy Note 20 would be the last of its kind, while others maintained that the Galaxy Note 21 was due for release in mid-2021.

However, back in March the company's co-CEO DJ Koh has confirmed that there will be no Galaxy Note 21 smartphone released in 2021. He cited the global semiconductor shortage, which is now beginning to affect key smartphone components, as the reason for this move. However, this doesn’t mean that Samsung plans on scrapping the Galaxy Note line altogether.

It will still launch a Galaxy Note smartphone next year, once the supply situation improves a little. But in the meantime, an interesting thing happened at one of the biggest official Samsung stores in South Korea. The store acknowledged the Galaxy Note 21 and Galaxy Note 21 Ultra in the sculpture at a Samsung store that was just opened yesterday. The names of the Note 21 along with other Galaxy products that are either announced or yet to be announced are engraved on a big Google logo at the center.

Now, at first glance, some of you would imply that the Galaxy Note 21 is indeed happening this year. But I don't think that's going to be the case because the primary reason for Samsung to postpone the Galaxy Note to next year is the global chip shortage, and the situation there isn't improving at all. In fact, it has gone worse. A growing number of manufacturers around the world are having trouble securing supplies of semiconductors, delaying the production and delivery of goods.

And Samsung itself confirmed that there will no Galaxy Note this year. Now, this sculpture could mean Samsung may launch the Galaxy Note 21 instead of directly jumping to the Galaxy Note 22 next year, and although that's a possibility I don't think that will happen either because people who are not into tech would assume that the Galaxy Note 21 is inferior to the Galaxy S22 purely based on the numbering system.

So if Samsung is indeed launching the Galaxy Note next year, it would be called Galaxy Note 22 and Note 22 Ultra. Now, unlike in the past, Samsung wouldn't launch the Galaxy Note 22 in August or the second half of the year. Instead, it will launch early in the first half as confirmed by the Co-CEO DJ Koh himself because Samsung wants to give some breathing room to their foldable lineup as they think foldables will be the future and they want to increase their reach to more people before Apple steps in and sweeps a big chunk of the market share.

In any case, one can only hope that Samsung uses the extra year to reinvigorate the Galaxy Note franchise in 2022. Over the years, the differences between the Galaxy S and Galaxy Note smartphones have been minimal, so let's hope Samsung has something exciting planned for the Galaxy Note range in the coming years.

With that said, Samsung is pushing the limits of the OLEDs by creating a display with an astonishing pixel density of 1,000 pixels per inch. Right now, the smartphone with the highest pixel density to date is made by Sony on the Xperia 1 II with its 6.5-inch OLED that has a pixel density of 643ppi. The Galaxy S21 Ultra, on the other hand, has 515 pixels per inch. To be honest, I don't think we need such high pixels on a tiny smartphone display, so it's possible it may not be for smartphones at all. I guess time will tell.

The News Cover:  It was reported five days ago that the pre-registration of Battlegrounds Mobile India game will start from this month. Game maker Krafton will not be too late in this regard. Why not, this pre-registration has two advantages. Once the pre-registration is done, all the notifications related to the game reach the players from time to time. Game makers, on the other hand, also benefit. They get a clear idea of exactly how much gamers are supporting their initiative. Game development and business aspects are guided by this formula.

Earlier, it was reported that Battlegrounds Mobile India will be launched in June this year. And pre-registration will start at least a 10 days before the launch. But for now, Krafton seems to be in a bit of a hurry. The company has informed that the pre-registration of Battlegrounds Mobile India game will start from the 17th of this month. So you don't have to wait until June to launch the game? Unfortunately, Krafton has not yet announced a launch date for the game, so nothing can be said about it.

For now, Krafton has announced that Battlegrounds Mobile India will be offering a prize or some lucrative reward points for those who participate in the pre-registration game. Gamers will be able to claim all these reward points while playing the game. Only two conditions - gamers must be over 18 years of age. Those who have not yet reached the age of 18 will need pre-registration and parental permission to play games. If any such complaint is lodged after the pre-registration roll without the permission of the parent, Krafton will reject the registration, even if the pre-registration is done, the game cannot be played with that ID.

And the second condition? That's the use of the Google Play Store! Earlier it was learned that both Android and iOS users will get the benefit of pre-registration of Battlegrounds Mobile India specially made for India. But Krafton has not yet clarified anything about Apple users. Just said that pre-registration of the game and downloading the game, these two tasks have to be done through the Google Play Store, users will get this opportunity from May 16.

The News Cover: Even after deleting all photos from the device for so long, Google Photos could be stored in online free cloud storage. But that facility of unlimited storage is going to end from the 1st of June. Tech giant Google has already announced that customers will get only 15 GB of cloud storage for free from June 1. If it is more than that, you have to buy storage with money.

If you want to save photos in Google Cloud after 15 GB, you have to pay 146 rupees per month. If you want to take the subscription of the year, you have to pay 1464 rupees. Note that this charge is only for saving new photos and videos. This means that your old photos and videos will be saved as before. Although this will not be the case for Google Pixel phone users. They will get free storage as before.

Why captchas are getting harder?

The News Cover: I am not a robot. And yet, my computer accuses me of being one, constantly. Sign up for a fitness app profile captcha. Getting a vaccine appointment captcha. Buying dumbbells captcha. Ordering cookies online because I have no self control captcha. And the most annoying part?

I don’t always pass these captcha tests on the first try. It feels like captchas are getting harder and they are. But it turns out there’s a lot more going on behind the scenes than just proving you’re a human. The word captcha is an acronym. it stands for Completely Automated Public Turing Test to tell Computers and Humans Apart.

So there's a little bit of cheating because of the T. there’s like a lot of T's in there. “Turing test to tell.” Luis Von Ahn invented captchas. In the year 2000, he was a first year PHD student at Carnegie Mellon University, attending a talk by the chief scientist at Yahoo! In the year 2000, Yahoo! Was like the biggest tech company out there The talk was about 10 problems they didn’t know how to solve, and one in particular stood out They had this problem that people would write programs to obtain millions of email accounts from Yahoo!

And the people who did that were spammers. so they just couldn't figure out how to stop it. what we need is a test that can distinguish humans from computers The test needed to be passable by any human regardless of age, gender, education, or language. That becomes even more challenging because this is a test that a computer should not be able to pass, but a computer should be able to grade.

It's kind of... kind of a paradoxical idea. The epiphany came when they realized that humans are really good at optical character recognition a.k.a reading. We read text at all kinds of angles, in different lighting conditions, when it’s bent over the seams of a book, when it’s in scratchy doctor handwriting, and we’ve been training ourselves on how to do this since we were kids. you don't need to be all that smart or know how to spell or anything. You’re just kind of pattern matching.

Computers of the era were really bad at this, making it the perfect test. Captcha programmers would give the computer the correct text so it knew the answer. Then they’d stretch that text and warp it. The computer with the answer would be able to grade it, but a new bot that didn’t have the answer wouldn’t be able to understand it. Having cracked the code, they gave it to yahoo, who started using it on their front page for sign ups within a couple of weeks of the first implementation, it was being used millions of times a day And the test worked.

It differentiated between humans and computers, and helped stop bots. But in the background, all the letters and numbers humans typed were doing something else: making computers smarter. In 2005, a new version of the test debuted, called reCaptcha. It used two words: One was generated, so that the computer knew the answer. The second word was pulled from a book, or an old, distorted New York Times article, and the computer had no idea what that word was.

When a human got the generated word right, the program assumes they likely got the other word correct as well though they’d distribute the same word to several other people just to be sure. If there was consensus, they’d approve the word. So many tests were taken, that a year's worth of New York Times articles were digitized roughly every four days. Then Google acquired reCaptcha in 2009, and began using the tech to digitize their scanned books and news archive.

When you repeat this process enough times, you begin to build a robust image library of distorted characters. And eventually, with enough images in this data set, the computer becomes smart enough to extrapolate letters and words from new images. captchas basically taught computers how to read extremely warped text. In a test by Google in 2014, a human could read their most distorted captchas with about 33% accuracy. Their AI got it right with 99.8% accuracy.

And once the computers got better than humans, the test had to change. Enter reCaptcha V2 which features images instead of text. They served the same purpose: differentiating between humans and computers, and keeping the bots out. But this time Google leveraged the tests by getting humans to teach machines how to identify real-world objects. You might have noticed that V2 tests often have us selecting transportation photos: fire hydrants, traffic lights, crosswalks, and more.

Google uses this data to train their self-driving cars to see these objects as well as to improve google maps. But just like computers learned how to read warped text better than humans, they’re also getting better than us at figuring out these picture puzzles. So much so that the test had to change again as did the way the computers graded the test. Nocaptcha, and its most recent counterpart reCaptcha V3, verify that you’re human just based on your behavior.

So, how does that work? There’s a secret test constantly running in the background, making this captcha nearly invisible. If you seem bot-like like if you click around too quickly, or type out paragraphs of text in seconds then they'll make you take a standard picture test or ask you to verify yourself with two factor authentication. Pretty much. Now, if you use the Web, basically you’re being tracked. That's just it… the idea is now we can tell that you're a bot or not because we can tell who you are.

You can say this is creepy but from a usability standpoint, that's a lot better as opposed to me having to do some puzzle or whatever. You kind of already know yup, this is a human But unlike previous versions of the test, there’s no public facing answer for what our clicks might be training computers to do. And, it’s not clear how long behavior tracking captcha tests will last before computers outsmart them it is my belief... that at some point computers are going to be able to do everything that humans can. It may take a while, but at some point they'll be able to.

And so there's not going to be a way to differentiate between a human and a computer This was not the first idea we had Actually, the first idea we had was giving you some images, and then we would ask you, what are these images of? Basically we go find a lot of images of flowers, we’ll give you a lot of flowers, and we would say, ‘hey, can you and you tell us what these are images of?’ The problem with that is that humans were not that great at it. For one, it kind of required them to spell and you’d be surprised how bad people are at spelling.

And then secondly, if it’s flowers, people could say plants. or, cars. But it turned out all cars also had tires so people could say tire. And so it was kind of hard to get it right. Whereas with with a text, it’s this beautiful thing where not only are humans trained on it from very early, but also there is a key for everything that we display, like in the keyboard. So it’s like R yes R, T yes T So that’s, that’s why we settled on that.

The News Cover: Corona infection is spreading more and more for mobile 5G network (5G). Such information was circulating in different parts of the country for several days. The Union Ministry of Telecommunications said this information was completely baseless. The 5G network has nothing to do with the increase in coronavirus infections. The center also advised the general public to be aware of such fake information and stay away.

According to the Ministry of Telecommunications, various useless and untrue information is being spread among the people about the corona infection. These should be avoided. It has also been said that the test of 5G network has not started anywhere in the country yet. As a result, there is no question of the virus spreading through that wave. Moreover, it is not possible for something like that to happen.

Earlier this month, the Ministry of Telecommunications allowed mobile companies to test the waves on 5G networks. Bharti Airtel, Reliance Jio Infocomm Jio, Vodafone Idea and MTNL have been asked to prepare for the trial in rural, mobsball and urban areas. Ericsson, Nokia, Samsung, C-Dot and Reliance Jio's native technology will be used to start this trial. As a result, the Indian government wants to launch 5G without Chinese technology.

According to the ministry, mobile towers have extremely low power non-ionizing radio frequencies. Whose levels are approved by the World Health Organization. Which can do no harm to any living cell. The Cellular Operators Association of India has also appealed to the general public to beware of misconceptions or false propaganda. Last year, rumors spread in some European countries that the corona virus was spreading from the waves of the 5G tower.

The News Cover: I didn't expect I would be writing this article so soon. I’m surprised multiple smartphones have launched under 20K with 5G in India within 3-4 months. If you use your smartphone for at least 3-4 years then only we would suggest you to go ahead and read this article. We've taken 5G connectivity as our top priority in this article instead of performance for this article Base benchmarks - the processor should be good enough with a minimum of 6GB RAM & 128 GB storage, fast charging & multiple camera setup I was expecting realme & Xiaomi to lead this segment but realme has brought multiple smartphones but Xiaomi has not brought any 5G smartphone in this segment.

Smartphones Under ₹20000 Budget

On 5th place its realme 8 5G. It comes with 6.5’’ FHD+ IPS LCD 90 Hz display, 5000 mAh battery, Dimensity 700 5G, 8GB RAM 128 GB Storage, 48MP Triple Camera. It's priced at 16,999 Rs which I think is quite good.

If your budget is tight then its base variant 4GB + 128 GB priced at 14,999 Rs could be your option OPPO surprised me with A74 5G. This is priced at 18K and it comes with Snapdragon 480 5G. The naming of SD 480G makes it look underpowered.. It comes with SD 480 5G is on par with SD 7 Series SoC & much better than Dimensity 700. Its specs are very similar to realme 8 5G but because of SD 480 5G it comes at number 4 on our list.

On 3rd place its Samsung Galaxy M42 5G.It's priced around 20K including offers. The main downside here is its having a HD+ display but comes with 6.6’’ sAMOLED screen & SD 750G SoC. Generally SD 750G smartphones cost around 25K but this one is under 20K. It gets a 5000 mAh battery with 15W charging & 6GB+128GB storage which starts under 20K. Overall because of SD 750G 5G & all Samsung features, if you want a Samsung 5G smartphone and your budget is 20K then definitely you should look at Samsung Galaxy M42 5G.

On 2nd place its realme Narzo 30 Pro. It comes with Dimensity 800U. The gaming performance & multi tasking is really good. It's also a very efficient SoC as it's based on a 7nm processor Why is it on 2 number in our list? Because it has a Dimensity 800U, priced under 20K, comes with 8GB+128GB storage, 6.5’’ 120 Hz LCD screen with 30W fast charging.

On 1st place its realme X7 5G. There are so many things to like about realme X7 5G, one thing that isn't good is the branding of Dare To Leap on the back panel It has a 6.4’’ 60 Hz AMOLED screen with in display fingerprint scanner. Battery capacity is 4310 mAh with 50W fast charging with 6GB+128GB storage & is priced under 20K. If you look at 5G connectivity, performance, fast charging, display, battery etc. it's an all round phone and that's the reason why it ranks on number 1 in our list. I just hoped that Dare To Leap branding wouldn't exist but it feels really good in hand. The realme X7 has a 64MP camera which is also really good and that's why it's on number 1. So these were our top picks.
