1.  Up to 5 tickets can be booked on IRCTC's female quota at a time. 
2. Female quota passengers are currently given priority in ensuring seats from the 'waiting list' passengers. After that Senior citizens get priority then the seat of the general passengers is ensured. 
3. As per IRCTC guidelines of 2018, women seats on 'waiting list' will be given preference for those seats if female quota seats are vacant while preparing the passenger reservation chart for the distant train. 
4. If a woman has a child of 12 years or younger with IRCTC's female quota, she can also get the advantages.
5. Only tickets for the sleeper class will be available on IRCTC's women's quota. These berths are available simultaneously.
