News Cover:  Today, the railway mantra has identified 50 routes initially after the day-long meeting, which will allow the private company to run the train. The railway said the decision was made to partially privatize the service over time and provide modern services to the passengers.

Railways have decided to privatize 150 trains and 50 stations after the Tejas train. The decision was taken after the discussion between Amitabh Kant (CEO of NITI) & the minister of railways. Amitabh Kant (CEO of NITI) wrote a letter to Railway Board chairman VK Yadav, Saing that, from the benefits of privatization of 6 airports, Railway has decided to make privatize of 50 railway stations, 150 trains.

Tejas Express was started on October 5. This is the first private train of Indian Railways. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated this train. The passengers are happy for this highest speed train on the Lucknow-Delhi route. Tejas Express has been provided with several services including late fine, insurance up to 5 lakhs and healthy food.

However, rail unions are planning to move against that decision. According to them, the fare will go up when the hands of the non-government organizations, as well as the train workers, seniors citizens or passengers suffering from ill-health,  won't get a discount on the ticket fare.

The Railway Ministry explained that it will take several years to fully implement the entire plan. Now, on average, most trains are running at least two and a half times more than capacity. As a result, it is difficult to get new trains at this time. In the words of a railway master, the cargo corridor of East and West will be launched from 2020-21. The use of the mainline will be much reduced as freight trains will run on that cargo corridor. At the same time, the construction of the third line is underway in Allahabad. With the launch of the Delhi-Howrah route, the transit will be greatly reduced. The opportunity to run a new train will be increased. ''

Members of the Railway Board (Traffic) meet with representatives of the Northern, Central, South-East, North-Central, South-Central and Southern Railways to determine if any plans would be followed so that Private companies will show interest. Initially, 50 routes are identified which will be handed over to the private company. The route includes several short-haul inter-city routes besides Howrah-Delhi, Howrah-Mumbai, Howrah-Chennai, Delhi-Mumbai, Delhi-Chennai. The Kolkata-Mumbai local train service is thought to have been handed over to the private company.

At the same time, if a non-governmental organization wants to operate a sophisticated train from outside, it is worth noting that there are no railway policy objections.

Railways are seeking to reduce the loss of Rs 30,000 crore of railways every year in passenger fare. The fares of a train of Non-government trains will be higher than other trains on that route. In any case, it would be more than the Rajdhani or Shatabdi Express.

Rail Explanation: When a tender is called on one of the routes, the company who gives more money to the railway will be given the right to operate the train at certain times, on certain days. The company will pay a certain amount in return for the railway. The company will be allowed to use the train, line, rail infrastructure. At the same time, Railways has decided that a policy of dividend sharing will be taken. This means that the private company will give a portion of the profits that the company will earn by running a train on a route.
