Recipe Ingredients
Wheat flour - 1 cup
Ajwain - 1/2 tbsp
Ghee - 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
For Filling
Carrot - 2 cup (grated)
Pepper powder to taste
Ajwain - 1/2 tbsp
Oil - 1 tbsp
Cumin seeds powder - 1/2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Cooking Time: 20 minutes
Preparation Method:
- For the parathas, knead the dough with spice and mix the oil/ghee. Add little water to knead into dough. Divide the dough into six portions. Roll out each portion into a chapathi.
- For the filling, heat the oil and add the carrots. Mix in the spices and stir fry 2-3mins. Remove from fire and keep aside.
- Place a portion of the filling on one chapathi and cover with another chapathi . Prepare the parathas in this way.
- Fry parathas on a tava on low heat adding ghee around parathas from time to time. Serve hot with curry which you like.
