BCCI president and former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly suffered a heart attack, hospitalized

 

News Cover: BCCI chief Sourav Ganguly has been admitted to the hospital after a sudden chest pain. The condition of the former Indian cricket captain admitted to the Woodlands Hospital in Kolkata is currently said to be stable. 'Dada' suddenly suffered severe chest pain while exercising in his gym at his residence, after which he was rushed to the hospital in a hurry.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee wished Ganguly to recover soon. Didi tweeted, 'Sad to hear that Sourav Ganguly has a mild heart attack and has been admitted to the hospital, wishing him well soon. Pray for Ganguly and his family.

Ganguly was present at the inauguration of Arun Jaitley's statue at the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium in Delhi recently, before he attended the BCCI AGM held in Ahmedabad on December 24.
