Nepali Climber Climbs Mount Everest 25 Times

Nepal's economy is flourishing because of mountaineering expeditions which many foreigners take part in to climb Mount Everest. Guides help these foreigners to climb the mountain and provide all the neccesary equipment. The money generated sustains the economy. 

If people climb the mountain without a guide, it would lead to severe losses for the economy and foreigners would be unable to climb the mountain as they lack experience. Kami Rita is a Nepali guide. He is very hardworking and has a world record of climbing the highest number of mountains in the world. Kami has climbed Mount Everest which is world's tallest mountain 24 times. Before he started the climb for the 25th time he said, My aim was to celebrate my silver jubilee of climbing Everest in 2020 at the age of 50.

On 7th May, by climbing Mount Everest for the 25th time, he has made a world record. He is the first person to climb such a trecherous mountain 25 times. He climbed the mount Everest for the first time in 1994 when he was working for a trekking company. Since then, he has climbed Everest almost every year. Kami has been a guide for more than two decades. After climbing the Mount Everest which is the tallest mountain in the world, Kami also climbed the world's second-highest mountain K2 in Pakistan.
