Woman Drives As Uber Driver Sleeps | News Cover

News Cover: A 28-year-old woman named Tejaswini Divya Naik was travelling from Pune to Mumbai. Let me tell you about her and the driver's journey which will shock you. 

     The woman observed that that during the drive the driver was constantly on the phone. She felt uncomfortable but let it slide. At the Pune-Mumbai highway he stopped talking on the phone. Later he fell asleep at the wheel and the car almost hit the divider. She then told him to stop the car and offered to drive the car herself. 

      She said that she could only drive for 30 mins because the long journey could hurt her back. The driver agreed. While Naik drove, he was talking on the phone continuously. He praised Naik's driving skills and went back to talking on the phone. 

    Instead of the 30 minutes she drove the entire journey. After talking on the phone he then took a nap. Once he fell asleep, Naik clicked photos and videos of him. 

    Half an hour before reaching the destination, she woke up the driver due to her back pain. He took over his duties till Mumbai and thanked her. When Uber heard about this they said, "This is a shameful incident and the driver has been fired.”
