News Cover: Today, the Supreme Court's CJI Ranjan Gogoi, announced the final decision about the Ayodhya dispute today at 10.30am. Let me tell you about it in short. 

      Lord Rama was born in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, As per the Ramayana, Hindus believe that a temple was built at the place where Ram was born. In 1528, the Mughal emperor Babur came and demolished the temple. He then built the Babri Masjid in its place. For a long time, Hindus have claimed ownership over the land. There have been violent riots between Hindus and Muslims about this. Hindus and Muslims both filed cases claiming ownership over the land. Even though the courts gave a decision, they were never happy with the decision. 

      On December 6, 1992, the Babri Masjid was demolished by the Hindus. The Supreme Court then seized the land and no one was allowed inside. Cases were filed demanding ownership over the land. The main parties were fighting over the land were Ram Lalla, Sunni Waqf Board, and the Nirmohi Akhara. They have been fighting over the land. Today the SC finally announced its decision about the ownership of the land. The Supreme Court's decision has to be accepted by all.

       The entire 2.77 acres of land of the Babri Masjid which was demolished, will be given to the Hindus. The SC also said that since the demolition of Babri Masjid was wrong. they will give them five acres to build a Mosque. The Supreme Court has told the Central government to make a Trust and select trustees within three months. Once they select and form a board of trustees, they will control the land and oversee the making of the Temple and Mosque.
