The News Cover: the world has come forward to help India at least 13 countries. have offered supplies and assistance, and while most offers should be welcomed. some need to be examined more closely, let's start with the first mover's countries. like "Singapore" they saw India in crisis and enabled the transfer, of much-needed oxygen supplies no strings attached last week four cryogenic oxygen tanks were airlifted from Singapore.

a plane of the Indian air force was sent to fetch the supplies more medical supplies are expected in the coming days, like oxygen concentrators and ventilator machines then we have "Saudi Arabia" it sent across a shipment of four cryogenic tanks with 80 metric tons, of liquid oxygen and this transfer happened in cooperation with two private companies.

meanwhile, many other countries have stepped up to help, reports say medical support, from France, the UAE, Denmark, and Israel, has begun flowing in today. the Indian air force airlifted seven empty oxygen cylinders, from the UAE, well-known buildings in Dubai, like the Burj Khalifa, lit up in the colors of the Indian flag yesterday. with a message to stay strong india.

the united kingdom is sending a major shipment including 600 pieces of medical equipment, like ventilators, and oxygen, concentrators. the first batch is expected to arrive on Tuesday. France has promised to provide India with a quote-unquote significant extra oxygen reports say this will include oxygen ventilators, as well assistance is also expected from the European Union, from japan, Russia, Australia, and Canada, too and as the rest of the world, swung into action.

us, and Germany, also woke up two countries one till two days back showed no concern for India after a stumbling initial response they have now offered to help the united states faced a strong backlash for blocking vaccine raw materials to India then u.s national security advisor. Jake Sullivan spoke to his Indian counterpart Ajit Duval and there was a clear shift this is

what America's statement, said after the conversation just as India sent assistance, to the u.s, as our hospitals, were trained early in the pandemic. we are determined to help India. in its time of need clearly, the Biden administration was red-faced after its initial response so on Sunday all key members of the u.s administration from president joe Biden to vice president Kamala harris to u.s secretary of defense Lloyd Austin, and even the American surgeon general posted messages of support in Europe chancellor angela Merkel made.

a shift too is german chancellor angela Merkel on Friday, we told you how she'd issued a warning to India she wanted Europe to rethink medical supplies from India. if India fails to export, due to its own rising caseload but on Sunday Merkel expressed solidarity with India she promised a mission of support Germany, foreign minister Heiko ma said that Germany is racing to get oxygen and medical supplies to India angela Merkel announced that we will urgently work on an assistance mission.

the german government is now urgently evaluating, what kind of assistance, can be provided such as oxygen, equipment, ventilators, medicine, so despite the initial speed bumps, India's partners are now offering help and this is also the result of the goodwill that India developed during the pandemic in the initial days. India sent medicines to more than 100 countries. than when vaccines, were ready India shared them, with the world the government faced flack at home but India believed that this was a global pandemic.

which needed a global response, the help continued, and all of it is now paying off, which brings us to china last week, we told you that Beijing had extended assistance to new Delhi, and not surprisingly china's actions are yet again. the opposite of its words this is what has happened china's state-run carrier Sichuan airlines has suspended all-cargo flights to India for the next 15 days.

why does this matter to India, because this could lead to a major disruption. we are talking about cargo flights they were supposed to get medical supplies efforts. were on to procure much-needed oxygen concentrators and other medical supplies from china. now all of it will come to naught because china's state-run airline has stopped. flights to India and that's not all Chinese manufacturers were trying to profit from India's desperation?

let me show you a report, it says Chinese manufacturers jacked up their prices by 35 to 40 percent, even freight charges. were increased by more than 20 percent. I said none of this comes as surprise china had supplied India with faulty testing kits last year this year it is trying to profit from India's crisis and blocking supplies while promising help good thing nobody was counting on them for it.

EC Asks Health Ministry Remove PM Photo From Vaccine Certificate, complaint TMC

The News Cover: sources say that the election commission has asked, the center to remove photographs of prime minister Narendra Modi from covet vaccination certificates and to follow' the moral code of conduct guidelines in letter and spirit now.

This remember follows a complaint by the trinomial congress to the election commission against prime minister Narendra Modi's photographs on vaccination certificates along with a message source say that in a letter to the home ministry the election commission said that the model code of conduct must be followed in letter and spirit in pole bound states this is a very significant development.

TMC of course had you know raised this as a concern with the election commission that when the model code of conduct is in place you can't have the prime minister's photograph on vaccination certificates yes actually once the elections are announced the poll code model code comes into effect so you might have seen the way in the poll-bound states the statutes of the leaders even the prime minister's photo or the petrol banks all have been covered that's a standing instruction so when the photo appeared on the vaccination certificate then TMC raised this issue and then after that the poll panel started

The election commission sources remember have said that since, the vaccination certificates across the country carry the prime minister's photograph the health ministry should find a way not to carry the pm's photos in pole bound "West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Assam, and Puducherry" so "what essentially has happened is that after the TMC complaint?  the election commission has sought a report from the West Bengal chief electoral officer and then a report from the union health ministry it then wrote to the health ministry calling for the removal of the prime minister's photographs in the poll-bound states the rest of the country will perhaps still be seeing photographs of the prime minister all right I do believe that the Nathan is back with us Vedanta can you hear us yeah yeah go ahead right you.

We lost you while you were giving us the details, of what really the election commission has said see basically what happens once the elections are announced either takes or in parliament elections the poll code or model code comes into effect so as per the guidelines issued way back pm's photographs in the "petrol bank" or anywhere that should all be covered so based on that TMC raised this objection and wrote to the election commission saying that pm's photographs appear on the vaccination certificate which is against the model code it should be removed so after that the poll panel sat a report from the West Bengal chief electoral officer and also report from the health ministry.

So after examining that now the poll panel has written a letter to the health ministry saying that you please follow the complete poll code in later and spirit so sources also said that see this I mean program vaccination certificate is across the country so pm's photographs can appear in other states except these five states where polls are going so far this health ministry will have to find a way in this app or in its program to block pm's photo only in for these ''states west Bengal, Tamil Nadu, or some Kerala Puducherry'' so probably it may take a little time so ac has called the helping ministry please block photograph of the pm or in this five states and accordingly you alter your software so that will have to be done so finally pm's photo won't be appearing in the vaccination certificate on the poll-bound states.

The News Cover: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 30th June 2020 addressed the nation on the coronavirus situation. He gave credit to the farmers and taxpayers because of them the Central Government provided free food grains to the poor and needy in the country.
PM Modi praised India's progress compared to the rest of the world. He urged people to take all precautions even during Unlock 2.0, particularly those living in containment zones. I will tell you some of the highlights of PM Modi’s Speech: PM Modi said that, “India's efforts are better than many other nations across the world." However, since Unlock 1.0 started, we have noticed people not taking precautions and having a careless attitude regarding COVID-19.

Earlier peopled washed hands, used sanitizers, wore masks, maintained social distance, etc. Since Unlock 1.0 people have gone back to their old ways and not following rules. Citizens need to follow the rules and more careful as the country enters Unlock 2.0 PM Modi said that compared to other countries, the death rate is very less in India.

This is because right decisions at the right time have helped manage the situation. This is why our death rate is less compared to the world. PM Modi said that they will now starting One Nation One Ration Card for the distribution of food. This will benefit migrant workers and their families.

Keeping in mind all the festivals that are coming up, free food will be given upto Diwali and Chhath Puja. Free food will be distributed upto November. Per family will be given 5 kg free ration and 1 kg dal per month. 80 crore people across India will benefit. This will be done at a cost of more than Rs 90,000 crore.

He also said that in the last 3 months, Rs 31,000 crore was deposited in the bank of 20 crore families. Rs 9,000 crore was deposited to bank accounts of farmers. The credit for the way India is being able to handle this crisis goes to two categories of people. Farmers and taxpayers.
The reason is the farmers continued to work and provided food to those starving and the taxpayers honestly paid their taxes on time which helped in India's development and ensured none of the poor went hungry. PM Modi bowed down and thanked all the farmers and the taxpayers.
