The News Cover:  When the Mumbai Indians batted first on Friday and scored 131, it seemed that Rohit Sharma's team would not be able to win this match. However, the name of the team is Mumbai Indians. Mumbai have won many matches in the past with low runs. The most consistent team in the tournament. But the champion team lost three out of five matches in Chennai. Barely early in the tournament. Right now, there is nothing like raising a roar. But the thunder signal is showing somewhat. The sooner the five-time champion team can fix that, the better.

Rahul and Agarwal went ahead to chase the run wisely. The two went up to 53 runs in partnership. Agarwal was out for 25 runs. Chris Gayle came to bat. The Caribbean legend knew there was no need to play big shots with unnecessary risk today. The best way to move forward in a low scoring match. That's what he did. At first it took a while to adjust. But then played his usual offensive shot.

It was the responsibility of captain Rahul to lead the team to victory from the end. Punjab had scored a hat trick till today. In the last match, Sunrisers lost by 9 wickets. Captain Rahul promised to get the team back on the road to victory soon. Kept talking. Not watching, playing a responsible innings brought the team an important victory. Losing the champion team will boost the confidence of the Punjab team a lot. Preity Zinta's team will get some oxygen.

And Mumbai have yet to enter their normal winning planet. There is a lack of continuity. Cricket is a game of great uncertainty. Today's king, tomorrow he is a fakir. Many did not think that Punjab, which was lagging behind in terms of strength, would beat Mumbai. At the end of the match, Rahul said that legends like Jonty Rhodes and Anil Kumble have always said in the dressing room not to lose confidence. Last time in Arabia, the team turned around in the second round after losing in the first round.

As a captain, he knew that the cricketers in the team had that ability. All that was needed was a victory. Today they got that victory. Again against the champion team. Rahul thinks that the confidence of the team will increase a lot after today's performance. Rahul also praised Chris Gayle. Universe boss has given confidence to the team in important matches as a senior cricketer.

News Cover: Chennai Super Kings beat Mumbai Indians by five wickets in the first match of IPL Season 13, with an impressive batting from Ambati Raidu and Faf du Plessis.

Ambati Raidu and du Plessis were the major contributors to the chennai side. du Plessis was not out for 55 off 44 balls. After Ambati Raidu was out, when it seemed that the Chennai team would come in front of Jasprit Bumrah, Duplasi held one end and returned to the pavilion by wining the team.

At one point, the contest was quite tense for Chennai, but Dhoni again took a surprise decision when he sent english young all-rounder Sam Curran in his place. Then Chennai needed 29 runs to win in three overs, and at that time Sam Curran scored 18 off 2 sixes off 6 balls to ensure that chennai would win the match from here and soon du Plessis sealed it.

Raidu's brilliant innings

Ambati Rayud will be remembered. Failed to impress the selectors for the 2019 World Cup. But the discussion was more of his tweet than that. In which he wrote, he has ordered three dimensional glasses.

In fact, the selectors had said at the team selection press conference that vijay Shankar, who played three dimensional cricket, has been selected in place of Ambati Raidu. Then he retired.

The same Ambati Raidu emerged as the star in the first match from Chennai. He scored 71 off 48 balls with the help of six fours and three sixes. His innings eased Chennai's victory.

Raidu and Duplasi shared 115 runs in 14 overs for the third wicket.

Chennai's bad start

Earlier, Chennai had a very bad start. Shane Watson was out for four in the first over. Murali Vijay had returned to the pavilion with just one run. After losing two wickets for six runs in two overs, Ambati Raidu and du Plessis beat Chennai to victory.

Rohit Sharma was brilliant with a four off the first ball. With Quinton de Kock, Rohit added 45 runs in the first four overs. But the first turning point of the match came in the fifth over. When Rohit Sharma and Quinton de Kock returned to the pavilion.

Rohit Sharma was caught in Piyush Chawla's turn and played in the air at mid-off while Quinton Dekock was sent to the pavilion by Sam Karan.

csk, IPL 2020, N Srinivasan, Suresh Raina, Suresh Raina back to home, cricket news, sports, sports news

News Cover: In the Indian Premier League (IPL), the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) camp, which is suffering from the havoc of the Corona transition, is expected to remove all differences. Due to the sudden return of India to Suresh Raina, the management of the Chennai team surrounded by controversies has raised the possibility of this legendary batsman returning to the team.

Just 24 hours ago, after raiding Raina for the controversy, former BCCI president and owner of India Cement's mother company India Cement N. Srinivasan (N Srinivasan) now softened his stand and said that the doors of the team should always be open for him.

Srinivasan said that his earlier statement was presented by the media from the wrong perspective. In an interview to a newspaper, former ICC President Srinivasan said, Raina's contribution to Chennai Super Kings is priceless. It is important to understand what circumstances they are going through at the moment and we should leave them a little different. When I said 'cricketers are like prima donas', I did not mean negative.

Let me tell you that Raina has been associated with the Chennai team since the first season and is just the second cricketer to score 5000+ runs, playing the most 193 matches in the IPL. The vice-captain of the Chennai team, Suresh Raina, had suddenly returned from the UAE, and the team called it a comeback for personal reasons. But later it was revealed that Raina was not happy with the facilities he got.

Srinivasan would repent and expressed great displeasure after the return of Raina earlier. Then he said that if a cricketer is not happy then he should go back. He had praised MS Dhoni's captaincy and said that Dhoni has handled all the situation and assured the entire team on video call that everything is safe.

Srinivasan further said that the season has not even started yet and Raina will definitely feel what he has missed. This includes all the money (Rs 11 crore) that he is going to lose. He had said that Dhoni's leadership is strong and his ability to remain calm has benefited the team immensely over the years.

2020 is being organized in UAE this time due to bad conditions caused by Coronavirus in India. Despite two players from his team Chennai Super Kings and 11 support staff being found to be Corona positive, Srinu is sure that the IPL is not in danger and the move to shift it to UAE will not go in vain.

He said, IPL is proud of India and has become a global benchmark. He said, whatever has been achieved in these 13 years is amazing. We all have to save it and work together to make it bigger.
