India faces increasing difficulty disposing of COVID dead

Monday, May 17, 2021

The News Cover:  The spread of the coronavirus appears to be slowing in India. Cases have fallen for the third day in a row - raising hopes that the worst could soon be over. But deaths from COVID-19 are still RISING. More than 4,000 people have again died within a day. Bodies strewn along the river bank.

Victims of India's coronavirus catastrophe. "The Ganges meanders through our village and the water flows very slowly here. So the bloated corpses get caught on the river bank. It's turned the whole area into a pile of bodies." As desperation takes hold in the scramble for covid-19 vaccines and treatment, India's second wave is also affecting the disposal of the dead. State officials believe some families are unable to afford the costs of cremation, as demand skyrockets.

According to official numbers, India has suffered nearly 4000 deaths per day for over a week. But the true death toll may be even higher. "Wherever they can, people are taking advantage of other peoples' misery. I saw it at a cremation site where they were charging exorbitant fees. Relatives are helpless as they have no other choice.

They have to pay whatever is demanded, no matter how unreasonable." There are small signs of improvement. The rapid spread of the virus seems to be slowing - sparking hope that social distancing measures may be starting to have an effect. More vaccines are also on their way. A second batch of Russia's Sputnik Vee landed on Sunday. But getting enough vaccine to protect India's 1.3 billion population will take time. For now, Indians are left picking up the pieces of the devastation left behind.

The News Cover: India is going through the deadly second wave of the coronavirus. For a few weeks, there have been lakhs of people getting infected every day. There is a lack of hospital beds, medicines, oxygen cylinders, etc. Also, there are long queues outside cremation grounds. Let me tell you about some heart-wrenching incidences that happened due to the pandemic. In Bhind, Madhya Pradesh a lady was pregnant and went into labor.

Her husband immediately took her to the hospital. The hospital official refused to admit her without the Covid-19 report. The woman kept screaming in pain but the officials refused to admit her. The woman lay outside screaming on the road in front of the hospital gate and gave birth to the baby right there. How shocking! In Andhra Pradesh, a 50-year-old woman had completed her CT scan. She was asked to wait for the report. Shockingly after some time she fell down and died. From the report, it was found that she was Covid-19 positive.

The woman's son searched for an autorickshaw or ambulance to carry her to the cremation ground. However, nothing was available. At last, he decided to carry the dead mother himself on a motorbike. Since he would not be able to take the body alone, the son requested a relative to sit behind and hold the body in place. The son carried the mother's body on the two-wheeler for 18 kilometers to the cremation grounds.

In Visakhapatnam, a one and half-year-old child were Covid-19 positive. There were no beds available in the hospitals. The baby was breathing from oxygen support in the ambulance and shockingly the baby died. Do you think there are only 3 such heartwrenching incidences, No? There are many more. So in order to keep yourself safe, Stay at home and follow the covid-19 norms.

The News Cover: coronavirus infections are on the rise across the country. Concerns about vaccines and drug shortages are on the rise. In this context, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday held a high-level review meeting with Union Cabinet members, state representatives and district level representatives on the progress made in the vaccination process in the country and the availability of Corona treatment like drugs like REMDCV.

The meeting also discussed how to increase the production of vaccines in the country in the next few months. A statement issued by the Prime Minister's Office said that during the meeting, Narendra Modi instructed the officials that "despite the lockdown, the vaccination process of citizens should continue and health workers should not be given any other job." The Prime Minister was also informed at the meeting how many vaccine doses have been lost in different states. At the same time, officials said, "167 million corona vaccines have been sent to the states. At least 31 percent of people over the age of 45 have been given the first dose of the vaccine."

Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Railway Minister Piyush Goel, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and several other high-ranking officials were present at the meeting on Thursday. The meeting directed to take appropriate measures to prevent further spread of coronavirus in the country. The Prime Minister was also informed that the number of active victims in 12 states is already more than one lakh. The Prime Minister directed the states to help in improving the health infrastructure of the country before the third wave of Corona arrives.

Meanwhile, keeping in mind the third wave, the Supreme Court has directed the Center and the states to start preparations from Thursday to deal with the threat in advance across the country. In addition, the vaccination of children has been instructed to end before the third wave strikes. A division bench of Justice DY Chandrachur and Justice MR Shah on Wednesday said in a case filed by the Center against the show cause notice issued by the Delhi High Court, "If preparations are made now, the third wave may be tackled. . " The apex court said, "According to experts, a third wave is coming to India (Coroner) which will affect children. When a child goes to hospital, his mother and father have to go too. So this class also needs to be vaccinated. There is a need and we have to prepare accordingly. "

The News Cover: well the government's scientific advisor in a press briefing just a little while back, has warned of the third wave, of covid. which he says is inevitable phase three is inevitable given, the high levels of the circulating viruses, what dr Raghavan, has said it's not clear on what time scales this phase three, with will occur this is terrible news given. the fact that India is just in the middle of phase two right now.
and we are all suffering immensely, we should prepare for new waves, the government has said this on the surge in Covid. they've also spoken about the so-called India double mutant, it's called the b1.617 variant, which essentially has certain features which enable antibody. escape in other words the antibodies in other words. it's easier for higher transmissibility people, get infected much faster.

and the vaccines themselves perhaps are not as efficacious. as they are in the original strain, and this is now believed to be something that is resulting in a large number of cases across the country. this has been confirmed by the health ministry today. two months after clinical information suggesting, the spread of this variant called b1.617 was reported by doctors in Maharashtra.

and elsewhere coronavirus, to go from here a phase 3 is inevitable given the high levels of circulating virus. but it's not clear on what time scale this phase 3 will occur hopefully incrementally. but we should prepare for new waves previous infections and vaccines. will cause adaptive pressure on the virus. for new kinds, of changes which try to escape it and therefore we should be prepared by scientifically to take care of that.

Corona Second Wave: School closed, why pay so much for online classes? Question of the Supreme Court

Tuesday, May 4, 2021

The News Cover: Coronavirus, the lockdown caused the most problems for the students. School closed for a long time. Not being tested. Sometimes the school was open. But after the second wave of Corona hit the country, the school gate is locked again. As a result, online classes are the only hope for now. But in the meantime the news of relief came for the parents. The Supreme Court said the school is now closed. As a result, the authorities are not spending too much. The facilities that have to be given on campus are no longer given to the authorities. As a result, the cost of school has been reduced. And so the school salary for online classes should be reduced this time.

This was stated by the Supreme Court on the basis of the application of the parents of many school children in Rajasthan. Schools could cut salaries by at least 30 percent, the apex court said in a case hearing on the same day. A bench of justices AM Khanvilkar and Dinesh Maheshwari said there was no law in the country that could allow schools to waive salaries. However, the court asked the schools to reduce their salaries at this time. Schools have been told by the court today that the authorities should be sensitive to this difficult situation in the country. People are suffering from one problem after another with the epidemic. The school authorities should relieve the students and parents at this time.

According to the court, all the facilities that are given to the students on the campus are not available now. As a result, the authorities are making huge profits from the amount of school fees paid by the students. At this point, the school authorities should eliminate the profit mentality and reduce the cost of non-sentence. Legally, school authorities cannot charge parents for any benefits they do not have to pay at this time.

Therefore, the apex court has asked the school authorities to reduce the profit margin during the epidemic. The school did not open in the 2020-21 session due to a long lockdown. As a result, there was no student presence on campus. As a result, the cost of petrol, diesel, light bill, water, maintenance and cleaning has been reduced in the school. In such a situation, the school authorities can take a little less salary from the parents if they want, the Supreme Court said.

The News Cover: In Goa as well as across India, there is a severe spike of COVID infections, leading to a shortage of hospital beds and medicines. The Goa CM Pramod Sawant, worried by the increasing rate of infections, said functions will have a limit on the number of attendees and duration. If these guidelines are not followed he said authorities would stop the functions.

People said this was an excellent movie and it was something that should have been done months ago to contain the infections. Then this video emerged. Have a look. In this video, Deputy Chief Minister Manohar Ajgaonkar was seen dancing with family at a Haldi function. No one was following the rules and hardly anyone wore masks.

After the video went viral Ajgaonkar said, only limited friends and relatives were invited to the function. Residents of Goa were infuriated over the blatant disregard of the rules. A man from Goa's Capital Panjim said, "The deputy CM did not follow rules but the common man is forced to follow rules. There is a clear partiality for the common man and politicians. Those who break the rules must be put behind bars."

Bengal Election 2021: Final Phase Of Bengal Polls Today As Covid Cases Hit Record High

Thursday, April 29, 2021

The News Cover: Bengal is polling for the eighth and final phase. of the longest ever assembly elections, anywhere in the country for 33 days, Bengal has been on the vote. mode amid a covid surge that has killed 77 people in the state, in the last 24 hours, and infected over 16,000 people, in fact, four candidates have died, of covid several others are covid hit, and the wife of a covid victim has accused the election commission of murder, amid all this 35 seat poll today.

but let's go across to the seats, that is polling and also a relief, for everyone in the state as this long-drawn election is finally. over today, yes indeed I mean it's you know the whole excitement and the joy of a vote and then looking forward, to the elections honestly. that has been overshadowed by the covid surge in Kolkata in Bengal, and of course in the rest of the country Delhi, Maharashtra, start with but nevertheless voters, are out I'm in Kolkata today, though there is voting going, on in several districts. as well beer boom, Malda, Murshidabad, as well as remember Shital kuchi, the place where there was firing on the 10th of April that left four people dead, shitholekuchi is also voting today.

so actually a total of 36 seats going. to the polls now, in the meantime the covid impact let me show you lines of people everywhere in Kolkata though in the last phase polling percentages, have been down people are out in strength determined to vote however the covid impact of the elections of being felt every day. you know that yesterday a "woman Nandita Sinha she filed a complaint against the election commission, itself accusing it of murder." because her husband kajal Sinha died during the elections of covid.

he was the trinomial candidate, from karda other than that an independent. has passed away also from covid up in Malda, at a seat called Nagar but because he's an independent, and not representative of her recognized political party that vote is continuing today. so Shamir Ghosh, the fourth victim candidate, in the elections of covid yet another very prominent leader "Sri Rupa Chaudhary she is the bjp candidate from also Malda's English bazaar, she has been admitted to the hospital yesterday with covid" and is under treatment.

so covid, has had a huge impact as you can see everybody masked up to come and vote other than that very key phase this 35 seats 36 if you count shitokuchi again 2016-2019 assembly elections parliamentary elections good for the bjp they increased their whole share they increased the number of seats, in which they were leading what will they get this time that is the big question but really today with exit polls coming in this evening an election result on Sunday not much of a weight left to that crucial question who is winning back to you?

85-year-old RSS Worker Vacates Hospital Bed For Young Patient, Dies At Home

The News Cover: India is facing a spike in the number of coronavirus cases. For the past few weeks, the country has been reporting lots of deaths daily. Due to the increase in the number of cases, there is nonavailability of hospital beds, shortage of Oxygen cylinders and medicine, etc. During this health crisis, an 85-year-old man has shown sacrifice and courage. Let me tell you what sacrifice he made. Narayan Dabhalkar an 85-year-old man was an employee of the Maharashtra government and a member of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).

Dabhalkar had contracted Covid-19 and his oxygen levels were dropping. His daughter and son-in-law found a hospital bed for him with a lot of effort. He was admitted to the Indira Gandhi Government Hospital in Nagpur on 22nd April. Sometime after being admitted, he saw a woman inquiring for a bed to save her COVID-infected husband. The hospital authorities refused to admit him because there were no empty beds. Dabhalkar decided to vacate his bed for the woman's husband. It was surprising to know that a 85 year old was vacating the bed for another man.

Dabhalkar said, "I am 85. I have a short life ahead. I have lived my life well. The woman's husband is 40. He has a long life ahead. So I want to vacate my bed to save his life. The shocked doctor agreed but asked them for a written statement. He writes and gave that he was willingly vacating the bed for another patient. Despite dipping oxygen levels, Dabhalkar went against the medical advice of the doctors and opted to give the bed to the 40-year-old man.

The octogenarian then called his daughter and told her about the situation. According to the daughter, they had got the bed after a lot of effort but then Dabhalkar had said he has lived his life. The 40-year-old man has a long life ahead and has the responsibility of his family and children. Dabhalkar said that his children had grown up and preferred to spend his last moments with the family. Dabhalkar was brought home and three days later, he died at his home.

After his death, news of Dabhalkar's act of sacrifice to save another person's life went viral. Shocking isn't it! Mr. Dabhalkar has died, but his act will remain immortal. A salute to him. I just told you the story of Mr. Dabhalkar's sacrifice. However, there were some news reports that said that the incident never happened & the story was fake. The doctor in charge of the hospital said that Mr. Dabhalkar was admitted on 22nd April. During the treatment, doctors informed the relatives that if his condition deteriorates, he will have to be moved to a different hospital.

The family agreed. After some time the family returned and sought his discharge. The hospital doesn't know the reason. The news about him giving up his bed is fake. Mr. Dabhadkar’s daughter was upset with the news of the story being fake. Mr. Dabhalkar’s daughter released a video clearing the doubts. In the video, she said that her father being treated at the hospital is completely true. While being treated, he heard the chaos of people looking for a bed. That is when he decided to vacate his bed saying he has already lived a full life. She said that the story was absolutely true.

The News Cover: COVID-19 figures in Maharashtra are witnessing an upward trend. A 90-year old man named Pandurang Atmaram Agave, from the Beed district in Maharashtra has beaten the deadly Covid infection twice. Let me tell you about him.

He first contracted coronavirus infection in November 2020. He then underwent treatment at a government hospital in Kej. Here he recovered within a short span of 10 days. During that time, his symptoms were not that bad and he could recover quickly. He got infected the second time in April 2021.

but this time it took longer for him to recover. His son Vishnu said, "Fortunately my father has no other health problems and recovered twice from Covid. This was because he lived a very clean and healthy lifestyle. He had a strong immunity which is why he could recover." When asked the secret of beating the disease twice, Pandurang said, "There is no secret.

I go for walks regularly which has helped me live a stress-free and healthy life. Youngsters today are easily turning towards addictions like smoking, drinking, etc, and don't exercise to keep fit. This is creating problems. I am healthy because of the regular walks." When I was taken to the hospital,

I saw people dying and suffering, I did not let the stress get to me. I managed to stay positive." He also said, "I was given oxygen but I did not take any stress. I stayed positive and concentrated on my health and diet." Doctors were inspired by his calm and positive demeanor.

The News Cover: the gurgle giving life, and they came from miles away to get it for many it's a race that they're losing, the race to find oxygen before coronavirus, overwhelms them quickly he's shouting they know every minute counts the narrow street outside.

the Sikh temple, in east Delhi, is crowded, with vehicles full of Sikh and dying people, desperate people, gasping for air for oxygen. that the hospitals can't provide is many tell us they've been turned away by several hospitals. before reaching, here no one seems able to help, these people and some just don't make it in time this would be shocking on its own but this tragedy is being multiplied over and over Indians are being abandoned in the teeth of a deadly disease.

the EU, UK, and America are amongst the countries to offer help. but the people have yet to see it so they're taking it, where they can and this Sikh temple's providing it sourcing oxygen themselves, how do you manage to get oxygen and the government doesn't. why isn't the government doing it, I don't know what the government is doing people are dying on the streets and governments are they are watching for all their votes, and election, as seeds.

I don't know, what the government is doing that then we can do it why can't government not doing that's a question a lot are asking india's, grim statistics keep on rising, they're promising free vaccinations, for all but in this one of the world's biggest vaccine manufacturing nations, only around two percent of Indians. are fully inoculated, and the surge in testing across the country means these are hard to come by too,

now with the positivity rate soaring in Calcutta, at the moment "every second person being tested is positive" in all the chaos there are many fathers like Siddiqui he's pleading for help my son's weak he says please come his son Abu Sadat is lying motionless they've been trying to get him into hospital, for eight days. India's being engulfed by this virus and its people are utterly helpless.

they hastily bring an oxygen tank to hook him up to it this is the best chance he's had of making it through this pandemic, in more than a week he's been pushed out of all the hospitals his mother tells us no one would help just as Siddiqui is feeling relief his son relapses there's a sudden panic. and his brother is doing everything to push life. into him, they're not medics but they love him and they're worried and they're not going to give up Siddiqui is distraught.

and he's angry, the whole country's, been destroyed he says the whole country is destroyed. even with the central government, and state government, there's still a black market for oxygen. he says what can you do. now he needs to go to a hospital, no more beds, in the hospital. this is every family's fight now. but too many are taking on this virus, with nothing to fight it, and Abu Sadat's relatives will have to hunt again for more oxygen.

The News Cover: The second wave of corona infection has hit India. The situation is worse this time than last year. The terrifying microscopic creature has increased the killing power instead of the form. In 2020, India supplied medicine and medical equipment to the whole world. The country has also exported corona vaccine earlier this year. But gradually the situation has changed. The epidemic has taken a terrible form in the country. There has been a lack of oxygen and medical supplies. In such a situation, other countries including Britain have sided with India this time.

The news agency ANI quoted the Indian foreign ministry as saying that a cargo plane carrying emergency medical supplies had arrived in India from Britain on Tuesday morning. It contains 100 ventilators, 95 oxygen concentrators and other medical supplies. According to the British Government, a total of 495 oxygen concentrators, 120 non-invasive ventilators and 20 manual ventilators will be provided to India under the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office's project. London has given a message to India to face Corona in the future. To this end, the ambassadors of the two countries are discussing. Indians living in Britain have also come forward in this direction. British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has given a clear message that his country will stand by New Delhi in this danger of India.

Note that the second wave of Corona Pandemic completely destroyed India. The number of daily victims has exceeded three and a half lakh. As the situation progresses, Corona is going to take a more terrible shape in this country in the future. Hospitals do not have enough medicine, oxygen or beds. In this situation, this time US President Joe Biden spoke to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the telephone. According to ANI, US President Joe Biden had a long phone conversation with the Indian Prime Minister on Monday night. According to sources, the two leaders discussed the situation in Corona. The US President expressed concern over the manner in which the second wave of Corona has taken hold in India. He also assured all possible help to India in this situation.

Kangana re-posted the actor's post and wrote in the caption that Sonu has recovered quickly after taking the first dose of the vaccine. Kangana even asked Sonu Sood to tell her about this covid vaccine made in India. However, Sonu did not respond to Kangana's post yet. She also asked the actor to request people to accept the Indian-made vaccine. It is effective for everyone over the age of 18.

On the other hand, a few days ago, Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal successfully posted the first dose of Covid 19 vaccine for his speedy recovery from the coronavirus, but Kangana was seen commenting in the same way. The News Cover: The second wave of Corona epidemic has virtually taken a deadly shape in India. The rate of infection is increasing by leaps and bounds. The number of deaths is also increasing. India currently has the highest number of daily infections in the world. The number of daily deaths till April 21 is 2175 people. Which is the second highest in the world at the moment. The total number of corona victims is 1,73,07,847. The amount of vaccine is quite low in comparison. The total number of vaccines in India so far is 140.9 million. Which is quite limited compared to daily infections. Crowds of people in hospitals and vaccination centers are eye-catching. Which has given rise to new problems. According to doctors and medical scientists, the incidence of coronary heart disease in vaccines has increased several times. The risk of infection from crowds of people in hospitals and vaccine centers is constantly increasing. In this case, the eminent physician Dr. Tushar Shah (Dr. Tushar Shah) gave some urgent advice. Dr. Shah also suggested the use of gloves in addition to masks. According to him, since nose-mouth-eyes can affect all places, all people have a habit of touching their nose-mouth-eyes, In their case, the use of gloves is highly desirable. He also asked all people who came to get the vaccine to shake hands with each other or refrain from any kind of intimacy.
