CBSE to announce Class 10 board exam results on June 20

The News Cover: CBSE will release the results of the 10th class examination on June 20. According to Central Board sources, the results will be published based on the results of last year's unit test, half-year test and test results. 

It is to be noted that students are allotted 10 marks for unit test, 30 marks for half yearly examination and 40 marks for test examination for assessment. 80 marks in three subjects. The remaining 20 numbers will be based on the performance of the students throughout the year. Since the 10th class examination has been canceled due to Corona situation this year, CBSE will give the marks to the students according to this rule.

To this end, all CBSE schools have been instructed to form an internal results committee of seven teachers to evaluate the year-round study of the students under the leadership of the principal. If a school has two or three pre-board exams, they will be able to evaluate students by averaging three exams. If this is not done, then the schools will have to evaluate the students above 80 marks.

The schools have been instructed by the board to finalize the results by May 25. And it has to be submitted to the board by June 5. Internal Assessment Number (No. 20) has to be submitted to the concerned schools by 11th June. CBSE will release the results of the 10th class examination on June 20.

The News Cover: India coronavirus is spreading more and everyday country more. Class 10 & 12 exams were supposed to start but offline exams were very risky due to an increase in COVID cases. CBSE and many state boards have decided to cancel or postpone the board exams. 

Some boards decided to cancel the exams and promote the students on the basis of internal assessment marks. Some states said exams will be cancelled due to rising COVID infections and students will be given a choice to appear for board exams later when the situation is better. If students do not want to appear for the offline exams, 

they will have the choice to be promoted using the internal assessment system. Let me tell you which exams have been cancelled: CBSE cancelled the Class 10 board exams and postponed the Class 12 examination. ICSE Class 10 board exams have been cancelled. State board exams for Class 10 have been cancelled in the following states: Tamil Nadu, Haryana, Punjab, Telangana Uttarakhand, Jammu & Kashmir and Maharashtra.

 The coronavirus cases are increasing every day, but some states have decided to conduct the board exams as per schedule. Here are the names of those states: Jharkhand, Goa, Andra Pradesh, Kerala Assam, Karnataka, Manipur, Sikkim, Tripura, Meghalaya & Nagaland. These states have decided to go ahead with the offline exams as scheduled.
