Google India has said that surprisingly, even though across the world people searched for news related to the coronavirus. 

Google India on 9th December said that, when the IPL 2020 started, it was the most searched news of 2020. IPL has beaten Coronavirus as the most searched news on Google in India. Coronavirus is on the second spot, US Presidential Elections between Biden & Trump are on the 3rd spot, followed by the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi, Bihar & Delhi elections is on 5th spot. 

According to Google, the top news were the Nirbhaya rape case, the lockdown, India-China skirmish, Ram Mandir news, there were top 10 news like this. That were searched a lot. According to Google famous personalities that were the most searched for were, American president-elect Joe Biden was in the first place followed by News Journalist Arnab Goswami, North Korea President Kim Jong Un and Amitabh Bachchan at 4th place.

 Many film stars were involved in the list as well. They are Kangana Ranaut, Rhea Chakraborty and Ankita Lokhande. People were very interested to google about their lives. Dil Bechara was the movie that was most searched about. It was followed by, Soorarai Pottru, Tanhaji, Shakuntala Devi, Gunjan Saxena - the story about a female fighter pilot - have been the most searched about movies.
