The News Cover: coronavirus infections are on the rise across the country. Concerns about vaccines and drug shortages are on the rise. In this context, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday held a high-level review meeting with Union Cabinet members, state representatives and district level representatives on the progress made in the vaccination process in the country and the availability of Corona treatment like drugs like REMDCV.

The meeting also discussed how to increase the production of vaccines in the country in the next few months. A statement issued by the Prime Minister's Office said that during the meeting, Narendra Modi instructed the officials that "despite the lockdown, the vaccination process of citizens should continue and health workers should not be given any other job." The Prime Minister was also informed at the meeting how many vaccine doses have been lost in different states. At the same time, officials said, "167 million corona vaccines have been sent to the states. At least 31 percent of people over the age of 45 have been given the first dose of the vaccine."

Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Railway Minister Piyush Goel, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and several other high-ranking officials were present at the meeting on Thursday. The meeting directed to take appropriate measures to prevent further spread of coronavirus in the country. The Prime Minister was also informed that the number of active victims in 12 states is already more than one lakh. The Prime Minister directed the states to help in improving the health infrastructure of the country before the third wave of Corona arrives.

Meanwhile, keeping in mind the third wave, the Supreme Court has directed the Center and the states to start preparations from Thursday to deal with the threat in advance across the country. In addition, the vaccination of children has been instructed to end before the third wave strikes. A division bench of Justice DY Chandrachur and Justice MR Shah on Wednesday said in a case filed by the Center against the show cause notice issued by the Delhi High Court, "If preparations are made now, the third wave may be tackled. . " The apex court said, "According to experts, a third wave is coming to India (Coroner) which will affect children. When a child goes to hospital, his mother and father have to go too. So this class also needs to be vaccinated. There is a need and we have to prepare accordingly. "

The News Cover: well the government's scientific advisor in a press briefing just a little while back, has warned of the third wave, of covid. which he says is inevitable phase three is inevitable given, the high levels of the circulating viruses, what dr Raghavan, has said it's not clear on what time scales this phase three, with will occur this is terrible news given. the fact that India is just in the middle of phase two right now.
and we are all suffering immensely, we should prepare for new waves, the government has said this on the surge in Covid. they've also spoken about the so-called India double mutant, it's called the b1.617 variant, which essentially has certain features which enable antibody. escape in other words the antibodies in other words. it's easier for higher transmissibility people, get infected much faster.

and the vaccines themselves perhaps are not as efficacious. as they are in the original strain, and this is now believed to be something that is resulting in a large number of cases across the country. this has been confirmed by the health ministry today. two months after clinical information suggesting, the spread of this variant called b1.617 was reported by doctors in Maharashtra.

and elsewhere coronavirus, to go from here a phase 3 is inevitable given the high levels of circulating virus. but it's not clear on what time scale this phase 3 will occur hopefully incrementally. but we should prepare for new waves previous infections and vaccines. will cause adaptive pressure on the virus. for new kinds, of changes which try to escape it and therefore we should be prepared by scientifically to take care of that.

The News Cover: In Goa as well as across India, there is a severe spike of COVID infections, leading to a shortage of hospital beds and medicines. The Goa CM Pramod Sawant, worried by the increasing rate of infections, said functions will have a limit on the number of attendees and duration. If these guidelines are not followed he said authorities would stop the functions.

People said this was an excellent movie and it was something that should have been done months ago to contain the infections. Then this video emerged. Have a look. In this video, Deputy Chief Minister Manohar Ajgaonkar was seen dancing with family at a Haldi function. No one was following the rules and hardly anyone wore masks.

After the video went viral Ajgaonkar said, only limited friends and relatives were invited to the function. Residents of Goa were infuriated over the blatant disregard of the rules. A man from Goa's Capital Panjim said, "The deputy CM did not follow rules but the common man is forced to follow rules. There is a clear partiality for the common man and politicians. Those who break the rules must be put behind bars."

The News Cover: India is facing a spike in the number of coronavirus cases. For the past few weeks, the country has been reporting lots of deaths daily. Due to the increase in the number of cases, there is nonavailability of hospital beds, shortage of Oxygen cylinders and medicine, etc. During this health crisis, an 85-year-old man has shown sacrifice and courage. Let me tell you what sacrifice he made. Narayan Dabhalkar an 85-year-old man was an employee of the Maharashtra government and a member of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).

Dabhalkar had contracted Covid-19 and his oxygen levels were dropping. His daughter and son-in-law found a hospital bed for him with a lot of effort. He was admitted to the Indira Gandhi Government Hospital in Nagpur on 22nd April. Sometime after being admitted, he saw a woman inquiring for a bed to save her COVID-infected husband. The hospital authorities refused to admit him because there were no empty beds. Dabhalkar decided to vacate his bed for the woman's husband. It was surprising to know that a 85 year old was vacating the bed for another man.

Dabhalkar said, "I am 85. I have a short life ahead. I have lived my life well. The woman's husband is 40. He has a long life ahead. So I want to vacate my bed to save his life. The shocked doctor agreed but asked them for a written statement. He writes and gave that he was willingly vacating the bed for another patient. Despite dipping oxygen levels, Dabhalkar went against the medical advice of the doctors and opted to give the bed to the 40-year-old man.

The octogenarian then called his daughter and told her about the situation. According to the daughter, they had got the bed after a lot of effort but then Dabhalkar had said he has lived his life. The 40-year-old man has a long life ahead and has the responsibility of his family and children. Dabhalkar said that his children had grown up and preferred to spend his last moments with the family. Dabhalkar was brought home and three days later, he died at his home.

After his death, news of Dabhalkar's act of sacrifice to save another person's life went viral. Shocking isn't it! Mr. Dabhalkar has died, but his act will remain immortal. A salute to him. I just told you the story of Mr. Dabhalkar's sacrifice. However, there were some news reports that said that the incident never happened & the story was fake. The doctor in charge of the hospital said that Mr. Dabhalkar was admitted on 22nd April. During the treatment, doctors informed the relatives that if his condition deteriorates, he will have to be moved to a different hospital.

The family agreed. After some time the family returned and sought his discharge. The hospital doesn't know the reason. The news about him giving up his bed is fake. Mr. Dabhadkar’s daughter was upset with the news of the story being fake. Mr. Dabhalkar’s daughter released a video clearing the doubts. In the video, she said that her father being treated at the hospital is completely true. While being treated, he heard the chaos of people looking for a bed. That is when he decided to vacate his bed saying he has already lived a full life. She said that the story was absolutely true.

The News Cover: The whole country is affected by the killing corona. The second wave of the virus has taken a more terrible form than the first wave. In this situation, the emphasis may once again be on the online class. And for this online class, the central government is giving free data to 100 million students of the country. This data will match only if you forward a message related to this. Recently, such a fake message has gone viral on various social media including WhatsApp. And this time the Cellular Operators Association of India or COAI is aware of this.

This was recently tweeted by COAI. Ordinary people are also asked to be careful by posting a picture of a fake message circulating on WhatsApp. In a tweet, the Cellular Operators Association of India said, 'Don't click on the link with such a message. Beware of such bogus messages. There is no such offer from the government or companies associated with telecom services. Do not forward such messages. Warn your friends and family too. '

Usually in all these cases they are asked to forward fake messages. It also has links to unknown websites. In some cases it is said that if you go to the website and fill up the form, you will get a recharge. Such claims are also made. But according to cyber experts, it is better not to give personal information to such unknown websites. Moreover, clicking on those links can leave personal information in the hands of hackers. Only then can the trap of deception be hidden. Therefore, this step of COAI is to warn the common people.

Covid-19 News: Supreme Court Adjourns Case On Oxygen Emergency Till April 27

The News Cover: now amid, a shortage of oxygen supply, in the country the supreme court has agreed to hear Vedanta's plea for the opening of its Sterlite copper unit at Tamilnadu's duty Kerala as the company would produce a thousand tons of oxygen and give it free of cost to treat covid-19 patients.

the latest development in Tamilnadu opposes the opening of a sterile satellite plant. the state says it will create law and order problems the "chief justice of India" says we have no problem if the Tamilnadu government takes over the plant. the supreme court directs Tamil Nadu to file an affidavit and it will be taken up on Monday, what happened during the hearing there are two issues, one as for the straight light plant in Tamilnadu is concerned.

a chief justice was quite categorical saying, that when people are dying in their dire need of oxygen whether it's Vedanta ABC somebody should run it because is supposed to say that citing the 2018  incident. where more people died against the protests. against the streetlight plan, which is owned by Vedanta?

so Tamilnadu government said lawn, motor problem, will be there they don't want to open it but the court said if Tamilnadu can run it it's well and good so they it directed the government to respond by Monday. so that whether the plan can be run by Tamilnadu. which produces thousand metric tons of oxygen and secondly as for the other issue is concerned taking out yesterday.

the supreme court wanted a national plan from the government on few issues, like oxygen supply, essential drug supply, for covid also the management and manner in which the vaccination can be done throughout the "nation so central government" wanted to time till Tuesday supreme court agreed.

but in between a lot of heated exchanges went between the lawyers and the three judgments headed by the chief justice because yesterday there were a few lawyers open saying that the supreme court should not take away the cases from the high courts. which is being heard? by them right from Bombay, Delhi, and few other high courts across the country.

so chief justice was saying that the "intention of the supreme court" was only on the interstate movement of the oxygen. just this year nageshwara, who is part of the bench said that it's very absurd people are talking like that the two senior advocates, who should protect the institution and court, never said anything against high courts, and a third judge justice Ravindra but also said that court never stole the I court from hearing. it so anyway port said that it will take up the case on tuesday right.

The News Cover: 4 petitions were filed in the Delhi High Court. On 7th April, Justice Prathiba M Singh reviewed the petitions. They were challenging the collection of fines for not wearing a mask in public. Singh dismissed all petitions. It is now mandatory to wear masks in Delhi.

Petitioners challenged wearing of masks in cars when the driver is alone. The court said just like masks are mandatory in public places, it will be mandatory in cars even if the person is alone. The judge said when a person is alone in the car and stop at a red light,

they roll down their mirrors to chat with people, beggars, food vendors, etc. In this way, the virus can spread if the driver has not worn the mask. Sometimes people spit and spread the virus. This is why it is best to wear a mask. The judge dismissed the petitions.

The court even rebuked the lawyers for accepting such a case. They said the lawyers should advice the petitioners to wear a mask. It said if lawyers do this then people will follow their example. This will keep Delhi safe and contain the cases.

India Crosses 1-Lakh Mark In Daily COVID-19 Cases For First Time

The News Cover: now India has crossed the one lakh mark's it's reported more than one lack of coronavirus cases in 24 hours remember this is the first since the pandemic began that India has reported these many cases crossed at one lakh mark in a 24 hour period one lakh three thousand five hundred and fifty-eight cases reported.

in the last 24 hours let's go across to the numbers 478 deaths in the last 24 hours and the total recovery and active cases so far are 7 lakh 41 830 and the number of deaths due to coronavirus in the country

so far is one lakh 65 thousand one hundred and one so a big breaking news India has crossed that one lakh mark if we can show you the coronavirus curve in the country and you can see how the peak from the last wave is lower than the peak from this wave and this wave has been a lot steeper as well it as you can see

the climb is has been a lot steeper we'll just bring up that wave in just a moment but let's go to the graph and let's go across we've crossed that very grim milestone reporting over one lakh cases in 20 for Maharashtra of course

the worst affected state announcing measures but tell us more about what the government is now doing well as far as the measures are concerned the manager government has already said that if there is no other option there will be a lockdown once again there will be certain restrictions as far as the central government is concerned yes there have been certain meetings that have taken place in the past few days

there is no clarity as to how the government is planning to put curbs as far as fan India is concerned because the number of cases has in fact reached the highest as far as 24 hours are concerned more than one lakh three thousand cases now this is the highest ever number of forever 19 cases the last time

the number was around 97 000 even at the peak on 17th December when we were talking the number of highest last year or the graph, however, was less cheap than this one because in just February we saw that less than 10 000 cases were being reported and we are here just in the starting of April and the numbers have already crossed one lakh mark

now this is going to be a big worry not only for the government but also for the people and the healthcare workers who are working around the clock as far as containment measures are concerned treating people are concerned and not long before the number of 419 cases will not only be concentrated in just Maharashtra because a lot of people who have been traveling from Maharashtra to other states there is always a worry that the cases might spread to other states as well

The News Cover: Finally, after clearing the fog, the Center has released a detailed list of government hospitals as well as some private hospitals in the country that can provide Corona antidote. Only five private hospitals in West Bengal in the list! As a result, the entire pressure of giving antidote in the polls will fall on the government hospitals. The Center has asked the state to be proactive in increasing the number of private hospitals. According to the Ministry of Health, private hospitals can charge a maximum of Rs 250 per dose of antidote. Of this, service charge is 100 rupees and antidote is 150 rupees.

Cabinet Secretary Rajiv Gowda today held a separate meeting with the chief secretaries of eight states, including West Bengal, on the Corona situation. According to sources, the meeting directed the voters to start vaccination in the districts where the rate of infection is high, while ensuring that the voters in the polling states get the vaccine.

Sometimes only Sunday. After that, the vaccination campaign of 26 crore people of the country is going to start from Monday. Of these 26 crores, there are two types of people. One, those in their sixties. Two, who are between the ages of 45-59, but have long been victims of certain chronic diseases or problems.

The Ministry of Health has not been able to find a clear answer to the question of how much the medicine will cost, which private hospital it will be available for, and how to register. Today, Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan met with Health Secretaries of all the states to discuss the details of the vaccination campaign. According to health ministry sources, the final list of private hospitals was received from the states at that meeting. After that, one can stand in line to take antidote at a private hospital in a state, the center said. In Uttar Pradesh, 1545 private hospitals will provide antidotes. But according to the central list, the service will be available in only five private hospitals in West Bengal. According to sources, The Center has urged the state administration to lobby for more private hospitals to be vaccinated in states like West Bengal. However, states have been asked to ensure that immunization centers are set up in government hospitals in every state except private hospitals.

Health workers and frontline workers are getting antidotes for free. Of the 26 crore people who will take antidote from government hospitals, they also do not have to spend money. The center had earlier said that the vaccine would have to be taken from a private hospital in exchange for money. The Center has set a maximum price of Rs 250 for a single dose of Corona Antidote so that private hospitals do not have to sit on the sidelines.

The question was how 27 crore people would register to take the antidote. Today, the Ministry of Health has clarified three ways. One, through the Co-Win application. However, as the modernization of the app is underway today and tomorrow, it is not possible to register in it at the moment. According to the source, the names can be registered through the app from tomorrow evening or Monday morning. Consumers will be able to register at a vaccination center near their home with GPS integration with this app.

Two, you can go to any vaccination center and show your age certificate directly. If you are over sixty years of age, you will get antidote. If you are between the ages of 45 to 59 and have 20 physical problems or diseases, you need to show a doctor's certificate. The list includes more than ten years of diabetes, high blood pressure, chronic kidney and liver problems, leukemia, HIV, sickle cell, heart problems, etc.

Three, the concerned state administration has to ensure that consumers are given antidotes in a group in one area. While West Bengal is among the eight states with which the Cabinet Secretary is meeting today to discuss the Corona situation, the situation in six states, mainly Maharashtra, Kerala, Karnataka, Punjab, Tamil Nadu and Gujarat, is of concern to the Center. In Maharashtra, 7333 people are still infected with corona. 361 people in Kerala. According to the Ministry of Health, the problems of each state are discussed in detail today. Where the situation is worrisome, there is an equivalent discussion of how many tests are being done. At the meeting, the center did not increase the corona test, The Center has emphasized the need to ensure that voters are vaccinated and that vaccination campaigns be launched in all districts where infections are high. If a 'cluster' of infection is found, the area should be declared a containment zone and surveillance should be increased. Special attention should also be paid to whether new strains of coronavirus are being found somewhere.
