₹1,000 Fine For Not Linking PAN & Aadhar Card

 

The News Cover: The deadline for PAN Aadhaar Link is 31st March 2021. For those who presumed there will be an extension, the Narendra Modi Government has announced that this would be the last date. Those who fail to link their PAN-Aadhar before 31st March, a fine of upto Rs 1,000 will be imposed on them. 

PAN will be deactivated as well. If your PAN card is deactivated, you won't be able to open a new bank account. The same goes for Mutual Funds, Demat accounts and various other financial services.
